She was at the end of her line. Gail had watched the twins fall asleep and left them with the babysister. The more and more she train the further and weaker the connection she felt with her daughters was. She had given up love, school, and her life to be a slayer, but she wasn't letting slaying get in the way of motherhood. If it wasn't for being a slayer she would have left town with her kids by now.
Stupid calling. Gail thought to herself as she counted the stars from the clift. Why me. Why couldn't some stronger girl be a slayer in my place. She couldn't quit her calling but the thought of it seemed to tempt her more and more each day. It wasn't just protecting her kids that made her patroll, but she felt she would let Lisa and all of the other slayers down if she didn't.
Gail rolled onto her belly and stared at the grass, deep in thought. The smell of wild flowers sweetened the air. A cricket chirped quietly sending the whole place into song as if it was a lullaby. The wind made the trees and grass dance to the music of the cricket and the birds who were not yet ready to go to sleep. Gail smiled and rolled back onto her back and watch the stars twinkle.

Lisa walked slowly up to the cliff; she had had a pretty quiet night only dusting one vampire who left her with nothing but a scratch on her face where it dug its nails into her cheek as it turned to dust. She brushed her hair into place and pulled out a twig that was tangled up in it, the wind rustled the trees as the stars shone brightly down upon the cliff and Lisa spotted Gail laid there on the ground, she didn’t say anything wanting to make her jump as she ran up and shouted "Boo" grinning as she looked at her.
She then sat herself down next to Gail and threw her stake from up her sleeve onto the ground and looked at Gail, Lisa could tell something was bothering her, she knew her too well "What’s wrong?" she asked looking sympathetic. She knew how hard it was for Gail being both a slayer and a mother.

Salira had been walking along, looking at the stars in the sky but not taking much else in, she was snapped back to reality when she heard a noise from just beyond her line of vision and a line of trees seperated whatever it was from her. She slowly walked up to the tree closest to where she thought she had heard the noise, trying to find out what it was and what spell to use should it be something that would attack her. She summoned the inner strength needed and looked around the tree. At first she saw nothing, but then, scanning the surroundings, she saw two people sat together, but she didn't recognise either of them.

Gail jumped then glared at her friend. "Thanks Lisa, I think my heart stopped." She said then sat up and leaned on her elbows. Her facial expression softened up a bit when she looked back at the stars trying to think of a good lie to tell Lisa. "Nothings wrong. Just enjoying the veiw. Why would you think somethings wrong?" She said lying threw her teeth. "So how are you?" She looked over her shoulder to see another girl coming over.

Lisa knew exactly that Gail was lying; she knew Gail too well but also knew that Gail didn’t like to talk about her problems and always hid her emotions so she said nothing else. If Gail wanted to talk to her she knew Lisa would listen. "Not much, been on the hunt" she paused for a moment then decided now would be the best time to tell her about Alyssa and herself finding there own place, it seemed to be the best idea. It was just too crowded in the apartment. "There is something I gotta tell you" Lisa started but was distracted by the expression on Gail’s face, she turned to look and saw someone else.
"You think it’s a vamp?" she asked Gail picking up her stake and getting ready just incase.

(Hope you don't mind. xD )
"Naah. I think it's just a peeper." Tawny didn't know these people. But that didn't really matter much in the long scheme of things. She had snuck out past her guards and things, just so she could have a peaceful night to herself away from the glam that surrounded her life.
She could say she wanted some time to be herself, but that was a lie. What you saw on the camera is herself. From Prada to gucci, she could wear anything she wanted to. But nah. Why bother? It didn't feel good half the time, and heels sucked the balls. So Tawny didn't wear any of it. Probably the only star to go to thrift stores.
But then, you couldn't really mistake the starlette for anyone else either. She had that special something, that in-your-face attitude that set her apart from so many others. But then, she wasn't always in your face either. Someone, who acted...No was normal.
And seeing the sights in the town she would call home for the next...who knows how long, Tawny had a camera dangling from her wrist that took excelent night time pictures. "Someone told me this was jumping jack cliff. Do any of you know why? And if it's how I think it was, why did he jump?"
Oh yeah. She was definately drawing attention.

"It’s a long drop down there" Lisa added after Gail straining her neck a little to look over the cliff. Lisa then looked up at the new Girl that had spoke and couldn’t believe her eyes, standing there was Tawny Foxx one of Lisa’s favourite singers. Lisa stood up excitedly her stake still in her hand and looked at Tawny "I went to your concert… I love your music!" she said wondering if she was dreaming it. She then realised that she still had the stake in her hand and lifted it up ‘oh crap’ she thought, quickly throwing it away hoping she wouldn’t see although it was in plain view and obvious.
Lisa turned her head to Gail giving her an eek look not realising that Tawny had already heard her conversation with her about the mysterious figure stood in the woods that could be a vampire. "probably is just a peeper but its wierding me out" Lisa said looking into the bushes, trying to get a better view of whoever was stood there.

Gail sighed and stood up as the stake rolled off the cliff. Then she stood next to Lisa and raised her eyebrow at her. "Lisa. What did we say about attack people with words?" She joked then looked at Tawny. "Sorry she forgot to take her meds." She joked again. "I'm Gail."

A warm smile spread across her lips. Tawny always liked her fans. Not that she was self-absorbed with other's admiration, it was just...Well, she was glad people liked her talents. Which kind of made her wonder why she made more than a doctor. But then, why complain?
"Thank you very much. I'm glad I could put some bounce to your step." Tawny didn't catch the girl's name, but it likely hadn't been mentioned. When the second greeted her, Tawny smiled. "Pleasure to meet you Gail. I'm Tawny. ...Meds huh? It's okay." She didn't really believe that story...But she didn't refute it either. It was possible, right?
It was best to just...Not draw attention to the whole ...conversation of vamps. Though it did catch her interest, Tawny didn't want to make these two more uncomfortable than they likely already were.
"So who's up for picture taking then?" She offered, holding onto the camera. It took polaroids, and she figured...Hey, why not share the experience with these two? Seemed nice enough, right? "I figure it's the paparazi. Which is fine by me." It could be, and it usually was. So...Why should she believe otherwise?
Offering her camera to Gail, Tawny posed; "Would you mind?" I mean, the other girl seemed to be seeing stars, so it'd be good for her to get the sparkle out of her system a little bit. And maybe a picture would do it. Well, two. After all, Tawny needed one too.
