Thorn sighed, flicking the book closed and putting it down on the floor infront of her. She let her eyes fall to the object she held tightly in her left hand. The necklace Willow had given to her, her fingers wrapped around the stone while the chain hung down near her arm.
She had yet to use it, as much as it tempted her, she wished to know the details of it first. She wanted to know how long the necklace would last, and this was stopping her from using it.
She guessed the necklace was why she was sat at the lake, books set out infront of her as she tried to find answered, because it was where she met the witch.

The night was a slow one. But ever since Micky hadnt been coming home every night was a slow one. Willow would stay awake everynight, hoping she would come home. But every night she never did. Willow couldnt believe what she had done. She was guilty, this was all her fault. Her now brown hair fell passed her shoulders. She had dyed it as she needed a change. She thought that a change might make her feel better. But it didnt. Her fringe fell over eyebrows as she walked though the small forest to reach the lake.
The lake had always settled her nerves. She didnt know why. Her features looked alittle older as she hadnt slept in awhile. Her arms were wrapped tightly around her body as she walked, not really paying attention to anything.

Thorn frowned down at the books laid out infront of her, a few left open at certain pages. The wind was not very heavy, though occasionally the pages would flicker to something Thorn was not interested in at the moment.
Thorn had always been curious by nature, it reached back passed her time as a vampire to when she had been human and at the time had gotten her into trouble quite a few times with her parents. Other people too seemed to find the amount of questions she asked unwise. Even now she was determined to find the answers she wanted, though she trusted Willow she wanted to make sure there were no after affects the witch did not know of and to find out exactly what was measured to determine the time she had in the sun.
Picking up the glass bottle next to her the vampire finished off the little blood left in the bottom before bringing the bottle down hard on the ground next to her, smashing it. Picking up one of the larger shards she began to scrape designs into the dirt surrounding her.

The slight wind was the only thing disrupting the peaceful night air. The slight breeze brushing the brown hair off of her neck. The sound of glass shattering snapped Willow out of her thoughts. Her eyes darted around the place, trying to find the source of the noise. What had it been? Is someone hurt?. The smell of blood as she walked thickened. It became alot more stronger, it sent pangs into her stomach. Her face cringed.
The trees were sheilding the object were the blood was coming from so Willow couldnt see what or who was hurt. Her fingers arozeand brushed away the tree branches and she stepped past them to reveal the object. But when she saw who it was her face set a bunch of confusion on her face. She didnt know how to act around Thorn. She still trusted Thorn, but she didnt know how to act around her anymore. Especially since Micky wasnt taking this so well.

"So the first account I have of it is in 1712" Chewing at her lip Thorn scratched the date into the dirt and circled it a few times. "A watcher ended up with it but he couldn't possibly have been the one to create it, he'd have no reason to. So where did he get it?" she muttered to herself. Rubbing the back of her neck with her free hand Thorn drew a question mark on the floor by the date before stabbing the glass into the earth and leaving it stood there.
Her back was to Willow, she had not noticed the Witch and was far too busy concentrating on the necklace to notice the power. Even if she was so drawn to it. Frowning a little she continued to stare down at the ground and books infront of her.

Willow walked out of the trees and she walked over to Thorn and she sat down next to the vampire her hair blowing out of her eyes. She looked out into the lake and she took in the sparkiling liquid. Her knees came up to her chest and she hugged her knees with her arms. What would she say to Thorn? She didnt know what Thorn thought of her now. If she even respect her anymore.
Willow placed her chin on her knees and took in what Thorn was doing. The necklace must still be a baffle to Thorn.

Thorn jumped a little as someone sat next to her, she spun to face them, crouched down ready to jump at them if they tried anything. It was Willow. She felt her body relax for a moment before it tensed again. It was Willow. Fuck.
"Sorry... reflex" she mumbled, guessing her reaction had been a little odd, she was just used to having to defend her self. Slowly settling back down into a sit Thorn looked out over the water, her eyes fixed, she didn't look at Willow again. Bringing her hand up from the ground Thorn brushed the dirt off the necklace, she'd crushed it into the dirt when she jumped up, but apart from being a little dirt it was fine.
Staring at the moons reflection Thorn didn't even blink, simply sat in silence, the only sounds coming from the wind and flicking pages of the books on the ground.

When Thorn jumped Willows reflexs went up as well as she tensed. Willow settled back down and she looked at Thorn and her knees came back down and she grabbed the necklace out of Thorns hand and studied it. "What do you want to know about it Thorn?" Willow asked, her voice hard to read. Her eyes looked down at the necklace, her fingertips brushing over the gem and she looked back at Thorn waiting for an answer.

Thorn felt her stomach tense as Willow grabbed the necklace but she did nothing, just tried to keep her head straight. Unable to look up at Willow Thorn kept her eyes on the necklace the witch now held. Willow had not been able to tell her much about it when she had given it to her, had the witch found out more? "I guess... you told me how long it lasts depends on the person wearing it, I wanted to know what it is that determines how long it works for. I was trying to trace it back to the maker to see if I could find the answer but I haven't had much look. Resources are hard to come by when you can only get them at night" The whole time she spoke her voice was quiet, she whispered and refused to let her gaze wonder from the gem.

"Thorn..the necklace depends on the strength of the persons inner being..if they are emotionaly weak then the necklace wont see you as worthy and wont last long..but if you are strong then if will classify you a worthy and it will last longer.." Willow replied as she gave the necklace back to Thorn and she placed her hands in her lap. "..The creator of it was a vampiress who fell in love with a human and wanted to see him in the suns light..but soon the power got to her head and she started killing so the towns people took the necklace off of her and banished her..they hid the necklace but it must have been found again.."
