Thorn stood outside starbucks, leaning back against the buildings brick wall. The window next to her was bright with the lights from inside, it was only when the sun set early that Thorn could wonder into stores and almost be human for a while. It was a Friday night however so that did not matter, the coffee shop was open late and live music could be heard playing from inside.
Thorn did not drink coffee, she had always enjoyed tea a lot more. The night was cold and Thorn wore a long black jacket over her shirt. She also wore fingerless gloves and a scarf, even though it really was not needed, she was constantly cold. Both hands were wrapped around the cardboard cup that held her drink as she leaned forward over it, one foot up on the wall that she leaned against.
Hanging around her neck was the necklace given to her by Willow. though she had yet to activate it. The clasp at the back was not closed and the necklace was simply tied together at the back with string. Thorn still wasn't convinced the gem would last long with her and really didn't want to risk loosing it, she liked it far too much.

Haven walked down the streets the cold breeze blowing in her face, her black hair flowing down and behind her shoulders. Her porclein white skin was beautifully contrasted agaisnt her hair and her ice blue eyes. She looked around at the people walking past her and they digusted her. She really did hate humans they did understand their type and she hated that. Her body was covered in black skinny leg jeans and faded band shirt. Long black gloves were fingerless on her hands but streatched up to her elbows. The material was ripped over the years.
She buried her head into the thick scarf around her neck and it trailed down her front and back. She was hungry. She hadnt feed since she last saw Thorn. She had know idea why. Her feet were in black combat boots and were walking on the concrete. She cringed slightly at the bright lights and she eyes were attracted to Starbucks. She saw Thorn resting against the wall and she smirked slightly.
She walked over to her and she rested against the wall also. "Hey.." Haven whispered as she looked out into the streets as she looked down at Thorns cup and she grabbed it from Thorns hand and she took a sip, then giving it back to the fellow vampire.

Thorn looked up and to the side as she heard a familiar voice. She stared into Haven's eyes for some time, not even objecting when she snatched cup. Finally she seemed to come back to her senses and turned her gaze away from the other vampire, looking back across the street at the row of shops there. She'd told Haven to stay away from her but she did not bring that up like she knew she should, she just replied with a simple "hey".

Haven turned her head back towards the other vampire and she shifted her weight onto her other foot and she snuggled further into her scarf, being careful of the large gashes on her back. When she was walking by the lake last night she had been chased and attacked by a very strong werewolf. It had caught her and slashed her back, and she had to say it was painful. Very painful.
It still hadnt healed quite yet but it will. She rested slowly against the wall cringing slightly at the pain that surge through her body. "Im sorry about the other night..I was feeling alittle weird.." Haven told Thorn even though it was a lie. But she wasnt going to tell Thorn that or give away that she was lieing.

Thorn's hand moved to her neck and pressed down on her scarf over the bite back Haven had given her. It happened automatically, she didn't even noticed. Since it was only a bite it had healed quite quickly, though two small scars remained there.
She wasn't sure what to say, she knew this vampire was no good for her, she shouldn't be around her, but here she was again and Thorn found herself unable to tell Haven to go away. "You seemed pretty comfortable with it at the time" Thorn replied, she may not be able to tell Haven to go away but she was still pissed that she had been fed human blood.

Haven got off the wall, the cuts on her back leaving blood stains on the wall through her black shirt. The bandages were obviously seeping blood and Haven could smell it. Haven stood infront of Thorn and looked into her eyes. "Look im sorry...I just was confused about the feelings I was having towards you.." Haven whispered as she wrapped her arms around her own stomach. "I didnt know how to react.."
Her back was throbbing but she didnt want to express her pain to Thorn.

Feelingings. She had feeling.. for me? [/color] Thorn chewed her lip lightly, nuzzling into the scarf to hide the fact. She wasn't sure what to say, though she found herself atracted to the other vampire she didn't think it was anything more than lust. She didn't know how to respond to what Haven had just said, so she didn't. Bringing her face up out of the scarf she sniffed at the air for a moment. "You're hurt" she said simply, moving away from the wall and circling Haven for a moment.[/blockquote]

Haven felt Thorn circle her and she looked down at the ground, her eyes soft. This was all an act but she wouldnt like Thorn know this. Well she was actually hurt, very much so, her whole entire back was three big scratches. Scatches that would have killed a human in an instant. And the feelings werent an act either. She did feel for the other vampire, strongly actually and it did hurt her that Thorn had pushed her away.
"It's nothing..." Haven whispered as she kept a hold of her stomach and she looked up and her head looked over at Thorn, without moving her body.

Thorn knew the other vampire was lying, she was hurt and Thorn could tell it must be pretty bad just because of how she walked and because she kept wincing. Stopping behind the other vampire she watched her for a moment before crossing her arms and rolling her eyes. "You don't have to pretend you know. Gosh the rest of you vampires need to learn to stop acting so high and mighty. We all get beat down at some point" she said quietly, taking a sip of her drink as she waited for a response.

The other vampire stopped behind her and Haven felt uncomfortable. She knew that Thorn now knew where the wound was and Haven thought that Thorn might hold that against her. Haven turned around and she looked into Thorns eyes and she kept still. "I know..Ive just never been hurt infront of someone that gets under my skin before..it feels abit awkward.." Haven whispered as she lowered her head again.
She needed to get home and feed to help her recovery and to change her bandages. Haven looked to the direction of her crypt. "Listen Thorn..I need to get home.." Haven whispered as her breath was softer.
