Likes: Well Alyssa ’s pretty much like any girl, she likes ice cream and chocolate cake and over doing it with the chocolate. She also has a small addiction to coffee. She likes her car, although its not her car, its her uncles, she took off with it when she ran but she knew a mechanic who changed all the plates on it. She likes men but many bad break ups made her fear relationships. Oh and SHOES... cant forget shoes.
Dislikes: She doesn’t like drugs and she’s not overly keen on alcohol. Of course she despises the thing that killed her family. Why wouldn’t she? Oh customers that insist on groping the waitress. Hello? Personal bubble! She’s very insecure and hates to know people are talking of her. And she doesn’t like being scared of feeling at risk.
Fears: That one day she’ll let someone in and they’d hurt her. Or on the same wave length that someone she loves gets hurt because of her. She fears her insecuritys will leave her lonely forever. She fears her powers mean she's evil. And more importantly she fears that one day she's going to not just put herself in danger but people as a mass.
Strengths: She doesn’t let people get close so she isn’t all that likely to get hurt. She’s a book worm and learns things quickly. She’s also full of common sense. She has a facade of being bold and confident. Oh and a nifty little power she just doesn't know how how to use it.
Weaknesses: Her family, of course, they’re the best way to really get to Alyssa . Her lack of knowledge about the supernatural. This isn’t just a lack of knowledge, but also naivety. Her heart over rules her head but generally she doesn’t let people in is also a weakness, as it ties in with the next one - she wont ask for help when she needs it, in fact she wont face a problem, she’ll just run. Also that she doesn’t know of her power, let alone how to begin to control it. But also more than all this... she's alone and she doesn't even know how to take care of herself.
Personality: Alyssa is one of those girls that people enjoy being around, she makes good company. Its rare to see the side of her that is bubbly and perky, she's let her life get her down too much and she'd never been one to let those become aspects of her personality in the first place. She'd always been a very to herself kept person. She is however witty, even though her wit can be dry and sarcastic. Alyssa doesnt like to verge on bitchy, but who doesn't know and again?! She's very smart, always has been. Some people look too much into the whole supernatural side of things, fate, logic or basic facts... but Alyssa 's a look into ever aspect, read between the lines and know everything you possibly can kinda gal. Inside she's a shy scared little girl but she's a good little actress.
Story of my life;;
Family: Mother; Kimberly Morris, Grandparents; Pauline and Charles Morris, Uncle; Dean Morris ;; She has a brother on her fathers side but shhhh she doesn't know.
History:
Alyssa wasn’t exactly a wanted child. Her mother had been the mistress in a long term affair. He’d always told Kim that she was special, that he loved her, and when Kim fell pregnant he told her he’d always be there. Wrong. When Alyssa was 4 months old her dad told Kim he’d had enough. Kim was 17 at the time she’d fallen pregnant, 18 when she had given birth to the little girl. Alyssa Rose - the name her mother gave her. Her name was pretty much all she had given her. Kim struggled with motherhood, and turned to drink. She’d never coped so well but when Alyssa was about two and a half her mother over dosed on heroin.
From then on Alyssa was raised by her grandparents who spoke nothing of her father and very little of her mother. She became rather close to her uncle who was always more or less like a brother to her. She was a good girl, she did as she was told, she studied hard, got good grades. She was in all aspects - a little angel. Alyssa was 17 when she noticed strange things start to happen to her. When her emotions got out of whack, strange things started to happen, unexplainable things.
A little after these things started to happen Alyssa ’s family home came under attack. Her grandfather was already dead and it didn’t look good for her grandmother. As the thing went after her uncle, her powers went into full swing. Setting the guy on fire and turning him to dust. Dean had looked at her with thankful eyes but Alyssa just got scared. She ran out of the house, grabbing her uncles car keys (it was basically her car anyway) and got in the car and drove!
Sample Role Play;;
All of the birds and the bees lived so peacefully;;
And all of the babies they slept so gently;;
Karlie had only been in the hospital a couple of days but getting out couldn't have come sooner for her. She hated hospitals anyway, but she was going mad stuck in there. She just wanted to be home with her baby and with Damon. Damon had been there as much as he could. He was so perfect with Kayla, you could just tell by the way he looked at her that he was so in love with her. Karlie had her family and there was nothing about it that hadn't been perfect. Other than Damon, Karlie hadn't had too many vistors... she really hadn't expected some of them thought. Like Lexi... heck Karlie hadn't seen the girl in a long time and she didn't expect to see her for a while aswell. But she had.
Karlie knew that by the time she got back to the appartment that Sadie would be gone and although she loved Sadie beyond the telling of it she was glad she'd be gone. Karlie just needed time to be with her family right now... it was going to be really hard for them to begin with and they really just needed to get used to being parents. Besides, Karlie couldn't really remember the last time she and Damon had had time to themselves... it had probably been halloween... and they really needed it. Karlie loved him so much, and they'd worked through their issues and everything but Karlie was going to make sure that everything went alright from now on.
Karlie had everything ready to leave by the time Damon arrived. The doctor had already been in and given the go ahead for her and the baby to go home. Karlie had everything packed up, the baby changed and she'd just needed Damon to bring the car seat. There were so many bunches of flowers in this room, Karlie wasn't quite sure they'd have room in apartment for them all, the balloons and stuffed animals would be okay in the nursery but the flowers not so much... and certainly not that many. She was probably going to have to get rid of some of them. Why did everyone think chocolates and flowers were the best gifts? Flowers die and chocolates do nothing for helping you lose baby weight.
Damon had arrived and Karlie had made sure she had Kayla sorted and then got her settled into a car seat before heading out to the car. No matter what Karlie did she couldn't stop staring at her daughter. She was just the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. Karlie kept wondering to herself, what she'd ever done to deserve something so pure and amazing. Karlie knew nothing would ever compare to the love she felt for her little girl. She just made everything else in the world not matter anymore.
They hadn't spoken much on the way home, it hadn't been a long journey and they'd pretty much just gone over everything they'd needed, made sure they were stocked up, made sure they were going to be okay having the baby at home with them. It would just suck if it got to the middle of the night and they realised they didnt have something they needed. Not that she couldn't just send Damon out to get it, but that wasn't the point, it was the inconvience of having to do so. And then they were finally home.
Karlie had slid out of the car, unhooking the seat and lifting it from the car. There was no safety net anymore, not like being at the hospital. It was all down to her and Damon. She'd shut the door and held the car seat, in which Kayla slept like an angel, and waited for Damon to get out and be ready to go on up. She liked having him close right now... Damon was her security blanket and Karlie knew he'd keep her and Makayla safe.
