Jonathan waltz casually through the halls of the museum. There were a fair few people around - a mixture of nice weather and a troubled economy meant that people were looking for a cheap day out. Jonathan himself didn't have any such problems; various foster parents had left him large sums and his final fosterer had been very wealthy and set him up a trust fund. Naturally, Jonathan had moved the whole lot into a private, secret, account just before they'd had their split...
Strolling through the exhibits wearing a light woollen hat, fashionably baggy three-quarter length trousers and a sleeveless top, Jonathan would be the first to admit that he looked like some yuppie art student. But then again, he looked like a very good-looking... ah, why be modest? He looked like a fantastically gorgeous and startling beautiful yuppie art student. So that was, naturally, okay.
He stopped to read the information on some spear heads and tools that had been uncovered. Nothing jumped out at him. Trying to find out about this place by studying the museum was turning out to be a waste of time and Jonathan suspected that the Watchers Council had a hand in that somewhere. Although Jonathan regarded the Council with distaste, as he did with most lofty organisations and authority figures, he had found working with Slayers to be a mostly profitable experience. There were a few in particular who he knew he'd never forget...
Oh well, he could enjoy the museum just for it's... uh... museumyness, he supposed, and continued to study the broken, rusty junk in the cabinet in front of him.
