A blow and fall, Amy was knocked back. She had snuck out to do some private slaying, release the tension, even though Elliott or her father would throttle her if they found out. She’d only been in town a few hours, but she’d already discovered that at night this town was pretty damn active. A lot of bad things to kill, but tonight it was just a vampire. Rolling back into a headstone Amy’s head landed with a smack. She really was inexperienced. As the vampire made its approach she kicked, temporarily allowing her to get to her feet, but this time she was kicked over the grave and into the freshly prepared hole. In hindsight she could see why her family would throttle her for doing this alone but she wasn’t going to die, she wouldn’t allow it, not tonight.
As her opponent pounced into the hole with her, looming over, bending down for the kill she made her move. A stake, directly in the heart … the vampire was killed and Amy had a new layer of dust on her body. Shaking like a wet dog she scrambled to her feet and crawled out of the six feet realising the ‘icky-ness’ of lying in an open grave.

Xander Harris left the grocery store with a box of Twinkies in hand with a huge grin on his face as he walked towards the cemetery. ( I guess, I'll do a quickie little patrol.) Xander strolled quietly around the cemetery as he sang "Come on Eileen." until something caught his eye. A young girl dukeing it out with Xander's favorite type of demon.
Xander watched reluctantly from a distance as the young girl impressed him. (Not bad for a newbie, shes a slayer. The spunk and style gives it away.) Xander smiled and observed. (She must be Amy Page.) Well, he was impressed until, she fell into an open grave followed by Mr. Wonderful. "Now it's time for the Xan-Man to save the slayers asses as usual." Xander confidently said to himself as he ran to the open gave pulling a stake out of his leather coat that he found himself wearing more often than not. He also wore along with the jacket some old faded jeans, an old Van Halen shirt, with some heavy duty combat boots. The reluctant watcher arrived just as the vampire turned into that joyful smelly dust.
Xander leaned down into the grave and looked at the dirty slayer and smiled as he held his hand out to help her out of the grave. (Wow shes a cutie, keep it in your pants, jail bait is off limits even for watchers, which I am not, no matter what Buffy says.) "Let me guess." he smirked and put his hand up to his mouth. "Slappy tried getting past first base, so you staked him and he magically turned to dust." Xander chuckled as he played dumb. "The names Harris, Xander Harris, and I'm your worse nightmare. Joking, I'm kind of a the head watcher in Misery, without even being a watcher." He paused and smiled "Want a twinkie? " Xander rambled.

Amy was thankful for the helping hand; it was nice to see a friendly person about, most of the guys out at night appeared to be jerks, even the living ones. She scrambled to her feet with a giggle at the guys joke, realising he was in on the supernatural know how and not only was he funny, helpful, and sorta cute ... he was Xander Harris and a watcher, head watcher! She gave herself a final dusting off and then noticed a guy sitting nearby, dismissing him for a brief moment as he hadn’t appeared to see the previous bit of slayage.
“You’re Xander Harris!?” Amy laughed, “I can’t believe it ... it’s an honour to meet you”
[/color] Amy held out her hand enthusiastically. “You did so much good in Sunnydale ... did you really destroy your school ... cause I always wanted to do that, but then again I was home schooled and my dad would argue he wasn’t that bad a teacher and yours was on a hell mouth and I just realised I’m rambling on like a total fruit loop ... sorry.”[/color] Amy looked at the floor a little embarrassed. “Sometimes my mouth just talks even with the influence of the more rational part of my brain that says shut up you sound crazy. I’m Amy, Amy Page”[/color] She smiled “What’s a twinkie?”[/color] [/blockquote][/sub]

Xander sat there speechless with an enthused look on his face while the young slayer rambled on. She asked questions, and would would ask another question before he can answer it. (She's really energetic) Xander thought as he opened his Twinkie box, and devoured one while he waited for her to stop talking. She finally stopped. (I guess, I'm a celebrity in these crowds now ha?) He thought as he spoke. "Wow, slow down slayer on speed! Joking, and yes no lie I'm the same Xander Harris from Sunnydale." He sighed and smiled a bit when he answered her questions. "Yes we blew it up because Mayor Wilkins turned into a giant snake and led an entire army of vampires against us on graduation day, in which I organized and led an army of pissed off students against. How about that for a Senior present?" he couldn't help but laugh at the memory.
(Wow, she is crazy! I like it.)"Don't worry, I have my weird rambling rants as well."He shook her hand and smiled. (So, she is Ron Page's daughter.) Ron Page called the Watcher Council and asked Xander to keep an eye on her, not so long ago. (She doesn't know what a Twinkie is!?) Xander frowned and took a Twinkie out of the box and handed it to her. "Madam, a Twinkie is the greatest man made invention. It is the tastiest sugar filled food ever and the best tasting, with a creamy goodness surprise in the middle." he smiled as he watched her examine it. "Yes, I know it may look weird and funny but it taste delicious." he chuckled a little bit and took a bite out of another one.
"Amy Page? I knew it. Your father Ron Page called not so long ago, and asked If I personally can keep an eye on you." Xander raised his eyebrow over his good eye and smiled. "He said you have a tendency of getting into too much trouble?" he smirked at her playfully.

Amy laughed at his description of the fight in Sunnydale, he was defiantly funny. She shifted on her feet and put one hand in her jean pocket, but only temporarily as she was quick to accept food. She hadn’t eaten in hours, and she was a girl who most definitely had an appetite. She looked at it briefly, and then in a little more detail before biting into it. “This is delicious!” She exclaimed trying to contain her new happiness and excitement as well as the half eaten Twinkie that she’d forgotten was in her mouth as she spoke. ‘Jeez, manners Amy.’ She half giggled “Sorry”
At Xander’s next comment she looked at the grave that she had just fallen into and then sighed heavily, turning away from Xander and fiddling with her fingers. “Can’t believe we can be on a separate continent and he still interferes. I guess he has a fair point though!” She turned back with a smile, “Amy Page at you service.”
[/b] She saluted and giggled. [/blockquote][/sub]

Xander watched intrigued and and little disgusted as she devoured the creamy filled goodness that we call the Twinkie. Xander couldn't but just smile at the cute little look the young slayer gave him when she apologized for pigging out. Xander always had a soft spot for all slayer's most likely because he has not met one that wasn't attracted in one way or another. "No need to apologize, I'm known to pig out more times than not. Just ask Buffy or Willow, they will vouch for the many times they almost hurled watching me get my eat on." He had a grin on his face, until though ran across his head. "Hey, when was the last time you ate? I'm sure your going to be starving after slaying with that slayer metabolism and all. You look like you haven't had a bite for like over 5 hours." Xander gave a look of genuine concern for the slayer's well being.
Xander just thought to himself how lucky she was to have a parent who cared. She will appreciate it when she's older. Xander's real parent's weren't much more than shells to him. The only thing he was thankful was they gave him life. He didn't care though he got lucky and met Buffy and borrowed he parental units. G-Man treated Xander as his own son and so did Mrs. Summers until she tragically passed away. Xander frowned for a second and immediately shook it all of. "Your lucky, that your dad cares that much about you. Even if it's gets annoying and even down right overprotective. He has the right to be, I would be the same way in his shoes." He looked at Amy and smirked his usual half smile. "But, I've been your shoes somewhat. Even if my really parents didn't give a shit about me. I had people to fill in those shoes and be on my ass. I hated it at first, but I appreciate and understand it all now." (Wow where did that come from and when did Xander Harris grow up.)
Xander stood straight up with a straight face and saluted. "At ease private Page, now drop down and give me 20!" Xander joked. He couldn't help but notice that little bit of soldier is still in him from all those years ago on Halloween when he was magically turned into one. (Good times) he thought with a awkward grin.

Amy was happy, was he offering to provide her with her some more food, even after what he just saw. Funny guy for company, no annoying brother in the immediate vicinity, decent slayage ... and food, her life felt complete! “Food does sound very nice”
She chuckled to herself privately for a minute but was then lost in what Xander had to say next. It was ungrateful of her in a way, to not appreciate her dads concern, and she understood what Xander meant fully. She felt sorry for him, but not in a patronizing way, in admiration, because he was a stronger person now. He’d achieved things, great things and he hadn’t let his lack of family stop him, he’d found friends, good friends and moved on. Amy felt a little bit like a child, immature. It was such a ‘teenage’ thing to still be annoyed at her dad and she should have grown out of it by now. She nodded to his statement with a compassionate face before laughing at his return salute.
“So, can I take you up on that whole eating idea, is their anywhere in mind you want to go?” It was getting colder than she’d thought and she shuddered slightly before she noticed something odd about a nearby grave. The freshly turned dirt was moving and the inevitability of the situation was already obvious in her head ... “You might have to hold that thought.”
[/color] She pointed with her head to the grave as she started to pat her clothes down, desperately searching for her stake but not finding it. [/blockquote][/sub]

The young watcher's face grew into a huge grin when she said food would be and what he had in mind. The possibilities, oh the possibilities. Xander grew up in a house where he had to cook for for his own or live off the fast food circuit. He began to go through places to go feast upon at in his head. (McDonald's Burger King, Taco Bell, Wendy's, White Castle and etc.)Xander couldn't make up his mind, which was a surprise. Xander look at the young slayer and gave a nonchalant look. "What do you have a taste for other than vampire!" Xander yelled when she told him to hold that thought and noticed a vampire as it jumped on top of him.
"Hey handsome, I never kiss on first date." Xander said with sarcasm written all over him while he stared the vampire down. Xander quickly kneed the ugly in his groin as it screamed in pain. Xander took the opportunity to pull out his stake out of the inside of black leather coat. "Sorry to do this darling, I thought we really had a lot in common." Xander stated with confidence as he dived his stake into the chest of the vampire with major groin troubles and turned the usual dust. "Man, I really liked him, we made a connection." he said when he noticed another vamp, as it quickly lurked up behind Amy as she still still looked for her stake. "Amy behind you! Catch!" Xander screamed as he tossed his stake at the slayer.

Amy, still frantically looking for her stake couldn’t fully appreciate the dry wit in Xander’s kill but she knew that he had done it and that in itself was impressive. She thought it was amazing when she pulled it off, and for Xander without slayer powers. Looking up at his voice, she caught the stake and turned to stake the vampire with all her strength. She was still fairly new to the actual real life combat and so the fact that she’d made contact with his heart made her happy. The vampire turned to dust and Amy turned back to Xander slowly with a smile that gradually crept onto her face. When she’d turned fully her excitement came out in a small explosive jig and she ran up to hug the head watcher. “Three vamps in one night!”
[/color] Amy wasn’t used to a high level of supernatural activity and to find three vampires within the same week for her would be a fantastic find. Also the thrill of the kill and the adrenaline boost that she had had, had put her in an excitable mood and the fact that she was usually stopped from doing this kind of thing by her family, it was liberating. As she handed the stake back with a still overly pleased smile planted on her face she started to walk towards the exit of the graveyard, which was, to her, surprisingly large. “So where did you have in mind.”[/color][/blockquote][/sub]
