There is a constant battle that Dawn has had to put up with of accepting her roles as the sister of a slayer or escaping the torment it can sometimes bring but Dawn, though on occasion reluctantly, never fails to come through in the end. She is loving, caring and kind, sometimes too much for her own good. Sample Role Play;;
The alarm buzzed and Dawn’s soft eyes flickered open from the first peaceful sleep she’d had in what seemed like a never ending few years. Sunnydale was gone, and in a weird way she missed it. If you excluded the hellmouth and constant barrage of evil, it wasn’t a bad place to live. She sat up in her new bed, clinging to the soft sheets that were surprisingly cold due to the draft of an open window that she’d forgotten the previous night.
The floor was cold in the new house and looking to the alarm clock, with a slightly blurred vision, she realised it was a lot earlier than she’d intended to wake. She stretched, and yawned in her usual fashion and then as if by magic the sun peeped through her window and shone onto her face with perfect timing. She smiled, put on her slippers and quickly left the room, eager to find out more about her new home.
As she jumped down the stairs, miraculously managing to keep her balance with the speed she had, she called out and her voice which seemed to echo through the still unfurnished house. A few boxes of old belongings still littered the hallways and rooms alike and then the realisation struck, she was home alone. A weird sense of sadness struck her and she started to get the all too familiar feeling of loneliness creep back onto her like an old injury that was still kicking off. She physically shuddered, folded her arms awkwardly and moved around on her feet. She didn’t like being in this new place all by herself, it didn’t feel safe yet, it wasn’t home.
Turning she ran back upset and locked the door to her room.
