The air was thick, the night was heavy, darkness everywhere, preventing the stars from being seen. It was nights like these that Micky missed. It was always like this back in Boston, and in Chicago, but nights like these were hard to come by in Misery Valley. These were the best nights for the hunt, the nights when most of the vampires came out.
Stake in hand, Micky walked behind Saint Luke’s, going through the cemetery. She had heard word that there was a vampire who made his home in one of the crypts, even though he was not newly risen. It was this vampire that Micky was looking for. Her wound had healed, her health had restored. She was ready.
But if this vampire was not already out, Micky would have to wait for him to come out. He would be leaving to hunt soon, that or he would be returning from one. Micky was patient, she could wait. And if things worked in her favor, there would be some new vampires rising that she could take on while she waited.

"I was sent here. My mission is to help shut down Vellweb. My first mission in months. I kind of think that they only sent me on this mission to keep me away to stop me from getting in the way of what they where doing. I failed a my mission getting my team killed. It pained me seeing it happen but there was nothing i could do. But the government didn't trust me again. But now. Now they send me to this town thats over run by slayers so why did they need her. They don't trust the slayers. I have only mate one and she wasn't the most friendly of the bunch So when else do i have to believe other then the government is right?"
Cat pulled her hair into a black bobble pulling it away from her eyes and face. She had been taking a walk around Misery for a few hours now. She wanted to know the place if she was to be trying to protect it she needed to know what was what. She was wearing a black commando style outfit. Her black boots moving through the muddy graveyard. She was trying to think of how to tell the people at SOF as they called them selfs that she was going to lead them. Her boss told her that John the leader right now wasn't one for being bossed around by a women so she would have her work cut out for her. She didn't mind so much there was nothing he could do to stop her. She had delt with worse.
She pushed on her black shades. But not the normal everyday kind of shades. State of the art. Her best. They allowed her to see clearly in the dark. They showed her the tempeture, alerted her when something moved by sending a signal to her ear and also had inferred vision. They helped her alto during nights like this.
She moved closed to the church. It had been a while since she had been in one. She didn't intend in going in one too. After her rents death she gave total hope up in god. It wasn't there time to die.
"Beep!"
Something was close. She herd the alarm from the shades. She spun around looking around to see what it was they could sense. Her eyes scanned thee grounds until she saw her target. A young women looked like she was just entering her 20s, she didn't look all that helpless she looked like she was hunting.

Micky heard footsteps behind her. For a hunter, such a noise could not be ignored. It could be a threat coming to attack her. She turned around, the stake still held firm in her hand. She expected to see a vampire, teeth blaring at her. But instead she saw a girl. It could still be a vampire, Micky knew not to make that simple mistake, especially since she was human.
If this girl was a human, perhaps visiting the grave of someone, it made no difference any more. There was no use for Micky to try and hide the stake. Chances were that the girl had already seen it, and if she hadn’t, trying to hide it would only draw more attention to it. She stared at the girl, waiting for her to make the first move. The next motion would determine Micky’s course of action, as it would hopefully give her a clue as to what type of being this girl actually was.

Kitty was a eye contact with the girl. She was feet away from her. The girl held a stake in her hand. She didn't seem to try and hide it from her. Which meant she must have thought Cat was a vampire or something else that likes to go bump in the night. She must be slayer. Kit thought looking at her, the way she dressed, the way she stood. She was on the hunt. Kits could see it a mile off.
From her past experience with a slayer it wasn't what you would call great. The girl tried to kill her. Thinking she was evil. Or go and the slayer was evil. The government brief her on slayers. And the way they talked about them was that they where not the good guys but in fact the bad ones now.
"Ill give you the chance to walk away right now slayer drop the stake and go back home" Kitty smiled pulling of her shades and studying the girl more. She didn't want to have to deal with a slayer tonight. She was just here to look. Plus she didn't know if this girl was good or bad. If Kits had just runed and walked away the slayer could easily get her from behind.

Micky stepped forward slightly, smirking as she looked over the girl. "You see," she explained, "there's two issues with that. One, I'm no slayer. Sorry to disappoint. Two, there's no way in hell that I'm going anywhere." It was still hard to tell what this girl was. She wasn't a slayer, that was for certain. But there was still the chance at her being a vampire.

Katherine moved closer to the girl. She was cocky, it was clear to see. So if she wasn't a slayer, or a vampire unless she killed her own kind then what was she. Or was she anything? Shes seen humans fight so why should this girl be different. "Well i don't warn people twice" Kits smiled titling her head to the left a little. "So here it goes"
Kit jumped at the girl. Phasing through her. Grabbing the stake as she jumped thought the girl. Kits stood behind her throwing the stake up and down in her hand as she smiled.
"Go before i do some real harm"

Micky didn’t really have time to register what happened before the other girl was on the opposite side of her. “Did you just go through me?” she asked, a little taken aback by it. She had never seen anyone do something like that before, especially someone that looked so human. “What the hell are you?”
However, even though Micky was surprised at what had just happened, she had no intention of leaving. Even if this girl could phase, Micky still believed that she could take her if she was forced to. She just wasn’t sure if she wanted to, after all this girl hadn’t actually attacked her or anything yet.

"Well I'm not a demon if thats what you think" Kits said as she threw the stake across the yard. She could hear it hit a grave stone slightly as it his it with a tap. "So what are you i mean i couldn't feel slayer in you when i phased or demon or vampire really" Cats said looking at the girl weighing out her opponent.
From Kits past experience she knew that not many humans know about magic and that if they did they wouldn't try to help fight it. The people in the government where the only humans she had ever come across that wanted to stop it. To end magic. Giving humans back their world.
She understood that. If it wasn't for magic then vampires wouldn't be killing demons wouldn't and slayers wouldn't be taking the law into their own hands.

“You didn’t give me an answer when I asked you the same question,” she stated. When the girl said that she wasn’t a demon, that really meant nothing to Micky. All that Micky knew was that she wasn’t a vampire, nor human or layer. But what was she?
Nevertheless, Micky still answered the question. “But if you need to know, I’m human.” Since she was a human, it would make the fight ten times better, because she would be underestimated. Humans weren’t supposed to know about the supernatural, they weren’t supposed to fight. Micky was one of the few exceptions.

"Kay so good or bad i mean you had a stake in your hands so I'm thinking good?" Kits asked as she still kept her eyes on the girl. First thing they thought her in training. Always know your fight-e, always suspect. So she did.
"Look what we have here boys fresh meat" The vampires voice was slimy in a sense. He sounded like the kind of guy you would pass in a bar after he tried his cheesy chat up lines on you.
Cats turned to see five vampires. Each one looked as though they had been slim pickings in the vampire making line. Cloths where mucky, ripped and well dated. "Cant you see where talking boys" Kitty said turning to look at the boys having her back to the human which may have been a bad idea but right now she wasn't too bothered about the girl. If she lived then she would get back into that.
