Before she came here, Thorn have never even heard of Slayers before. All she knew was that something odd was going on with her, but she felt like it was a good thing. Her parents hadn't though. So now Thorn was in the library searching for information about slayers. She had two books opened on the table, with a notebook and pencil to take notes about what she read in the books. Now she was ready to read, but she felt something between excitement and dread at what she would find out.
Thorn had always loved finding out information, she loved libraries and the smell of book pages as she turned them. She pulled one of the books closer to her and began to read. Some things appeared to things she should have figured out on her own, while other information seemed to make things click into place. She had her head bend over her notebook scribbling away notes.

(This post looked lonely. ) A slayer? What the heck was that? Tawny had no idea. Aparently she was one though. Unfortunately, she was also...famous. So it was hard for her to really...learn about these things. Slayer-powers had aparently been the source of her nightmares, and she could only assume that it still was. The information given was kind of slim, and Tawny found herself lost in a world she didn't know. How had she put her career on hold to explore this part of her? She hadn't. not really. Tawny was stuck on a fence of indecision. So on the advice on some others, Tawny had come to this place to take a peek. " This is...too weird." She said more to herself than anything. But in the silence of the library, it was a deafening roar. Why couldn't it just be another creepy guy-fan in a club? She knew how to deal with that!

Thorn heard a noise and looked up. There were many tall book shelves since it was a library. Thorn looked around but didn't see anyone. She had thought the library to be mostly abandoned, but it was hard to see because of the bookshelves.
Thorn closed the notebook she was writting in and stood up looking around. "Is someone there? She asked.

She must have jumped a half-foot off the ground! A voice had some out of nowhere, and disturbed Tawny's thoughts voraciously. And although it had startled her, Tawny saught out this new person, in this new world. Not that the world had changed, but Tawny's view on it.
The Pop-starlette sported her glasses, something not everybody saw. Especially not the public. She had contacts for that. But hey, Every person needed secrets. And her glassses were one of hers.
Tawny zero'ed in on the source of the voice, finally feeling the aura of someone around the next shelf. Peeking her head around the corner, Tawny smiled. "I thought I heard someone in here." She didn't look afraid. Not one iota.

Thorn seen a head pop up from around the corner. So there was someone in her after all. "Oh, hi. It's sort of hard to tell when other people are in her, with the shelves and all."Thorn said. "I'm Thorn by the way." She said introducing herself. She thought that this person looked somewhat familiar, but Thorn hadn't made any friends since she was here. She had probably just seen her around or something.

"Almost like book ninjas or something." Tawny grinned. "Oh. Tawny Foxx." Wow. That felt so weird in her mouth, having to introduce herself. Usually, her name was screamed way before she could even see the person screaming it.
She had to admit though, Thorn was a definitely unique name. It was refreshing though. Meeting someone that didn't know you. Tawny came closer, offering a hand in hello.
"...You wouldn't happen to know what A slayer is, would you?"

"In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness..."
Maximillion walked into the room, an open book in hand. he gives Tawny a wink and reads the final line of the book before closing it.
"...She is the Slayer."
Putting the book under his arm, he chuckles.
"For some reason, however, there have been an overabundance of Slayers born and brought up lately. Not really sure what to attribute it to. Perhaps the Slayer of his generation's repetitive dying has caused a rift in the Space-Time Continuum, and it's begun popping out slayers like a gumball machine. Who knows, really."
He stuffed his free hand in his pocket, taking in the two women with a smirk.
"So, does that answer your question?"
