Ah fuck Thorn sighed once again as she looked down at the large piece of wood protruding from her chest. This was really not good. She spat, blood, and it left a dark red mark on the pavement bellow her. Why did she always end up with large objects stuck through her, it was a bad habit, one she really had to break.
The last one had been a metal pipe that Micky had pulled out for her, but since Micky was the one who put this stake through her chest in the first place she doubted it was going to be her to remove it. She was being a bit of a wimp, she had to admit, but the stake had lodged itself into her chest good and even tugging at it hurt. So for now, until she got home at least, it was staying where it was. She was lucky no one was around, they’d probably freak thinking she was human and try take her to a hospital. She couldn’t have that. She covered the stake best she could however with the trench coat wrapped around her, though it did not make much difference.
She could not believe Micky had missed her heart, she had been sure that those were her final moments, that she was about to be dust in a matter of seconds. She was pinned, laid perfectly still on the floor. How had someone as skilled as Micky missed?

Being out of action for a couple of weeks had sure taken its toll on Willow. Her body was alot weaker then it had ever been, being only human and all. Buffy had surely made her mark and nearly killed her. By rights Miss Rosenberg should be six feet under by now, but no. She had managed to escape just in the last excrutiating minutes of her counsciousness. The pain was still there, and it pained her dearly to bucker up the energy to use magic.
But she had to learn how to continue on her every day to day routeins, even if it was night time. Wearing loose clothes, that wouldnt be to constricing around her bruised and cut body. She was still very bashed up, with stitches on her brow and jaw, as well as a couple on her neck and collar bone. Walking slowly and steadily down the streets, her guard was up. After all she was bleeding alittle still, and she would be a prime target for an attack.
She hadnt seen Micky in weeks, nor anyone for that matter. Her covers were cold at night, without Micky by her side, she needed her girlfriend right now. But she didnt know where she was right now, couldnt even say how much she missed her and loved her. Her shoulder bumped into someone, after all she wasnt thinking about things right now. "Ow!" Willow exclaimed as she kept looking down.

Thorn winced and cried out in pain, Willow had actually managed to catch the stake, pushing it further into her chest. She grabbed hold of it, having the urge to pull it from her chest but knowing it would hurt terribly.
Finally she looked up when the major part of the pain had passed and realised who it was. She felt herself go rigid. Trust her to run into the one person this all revolved around. She stared at her, worried by the cuts and everything but being unable to speak.

Willow's eyes looked up and she saw Thorn. The vampire that Willow had been asking to bite her, why? Willow didnt even know why she did it anymore. The vampire was in pretty bad shape, no really bad shape to say the least. A large trench coat couldnt hide the fact that she had been staked, but hit only alittle away from the heart. What kind of a slayer would miss?
It was then that the pain from her shoulder hit again and she hissed, raisin her hand there and rubbing the swallowen flesh. Her eyes never leaving Thorns. After awhile of awkward silence Willow decided to speak, not really being a fan for the awkward silence. "Are you okay?"

Thorn was unable to stop a slight smirk coming to her lips. "Oh yeah Willow I'm bloody brilliant" she answered, a slight chuckle to her voice as she said it. She let her gaze wonder, taking in the cuts and bruises on Willow's body though she couldn't help but to see more. "You don't seem much better off yourself" she continued, letting her eyes meet Willow's again, she was slightly taller and had to look down into them.
She would not reveal that Micky had infact been the one to almost kill her, the two were already having troubles she knew. But what difference would it make anyway, she probably doesn't care what Micky does to me, she thought. Reaching up she rubbed the back of her neck. She couldn't help but feel a tug though she knew it made no difference, Willow loved Micky, she'd just been someone to take the edge off.
