Why Me?Max trotted through the sewers of Misery reflecting on his choices and his life with Selena. He really didn't think they were compatible as they once were. He had become driven to eliminate the government now. As he walked the sewers his feet started to get wet. Damn sewers I hate city plumbing. He had no where to go but he kept on walking...

Julia felt like an animal, caged, trapped. She was stuck underground because of her own stupidity. She was so hungry, and could not resist the urge. The worst part was, sunlight came before she could feed. Now she was ravenous, with no where to go. Anger and bloodlust consumed her.
Bloodlust was hard to explain. It was like something else took over your body and you were no longer in control. The animal inside you came out, thirsty. All senses were on alert, and everything seemed to be moving so fast. The need for blood consumed Julia. After she fed however, she would barely remember if at all anything that was just now happening.
She moved through the sewers, gripping onto the walls to keep herself steady. She needed to find something, anything. Then she smelt it, the blood of a human, pulsing through someone’s veins. Where is it? [/size]

Max turned the corner and then he stopped... Do i sense something? He continued to pause as he scanned the arean. he then closed his eyes allowing his ears to do the looking so to speak. he then heard he pitter patter of feet coming close. Max's ears were so keen these days that he could tell how close whatever it was, was to him... I think I do! He then continued walking in the direction of the unknown thing. He wanted to get a kill in...

Moving swiftly through the sewers, Julia found herself able to smell what she craved—the blood of a creature, although hard to distinguish which exactly. It washed over her, strong, powerful. She could feel not sense anything else. Her pace quickened. Quick, shallow breaths left her mouth, as if she was human, although she wasn’t even close. One might think she was a crazed human, of course given that she hadn’t shown her vampiric features, which currently was not the case. Crazed yes, human no. She came upon the person, and an incontrollable growl left her lips as her eyes ran over him.

Max smirked as he saw the vampire... I should have known it was a vamp. Why are you roaming the sewers? I thought blood suckers usually played outside at night. You got a soul or something? He laughed at her but then looked serious. He wasn't sure what to make of the situation...

Julia stopped in front of the human, trying to make out what he had said. But her head wasn't in the right place, not with the need for blood overwhelming her. She was in the sewers because of this need, and that was the only reason. She had found her prey, now she just needed to get it into a position where she could feed without him struggling. She raised her hand and punched him without saying anything in response to what he had said.

Max's face tilted to the right then he touched his face with his right hand... You see this is the reason I don't hang with vampires. he then dashes toward her kneeing her in the stomach he then grabbed her by her collar with both hands and head butted her. He finished with a kick to the chest... The blood lust thing you got going is so unattractive.

Julia growled once more as she pushed herself off the ground and charged at the man once more. She was completely primal, a raw animal, no humanity showing through in her actions. Even as a vampire, she still had some humanity. But this need, this want, it pulsed inside of her, consuming her. She could feel nothing else but the pure need for blood.
Had her mind been truly conscious, she would remember the first time she went through a flash like this, at least the aftermath. It was when she was first sired. She tried to attack Trina, her sire, but she had helped her get through it. She stuck with Trina from then on, until her mind played tricks on her, convincing her that her sire was going to turn against her. She killed Trina before she could kill her.

As Julia rushes Max he also rushed her. Before they could reach each other Max heard a voice. It sounded like a young girl whimpering... "Maybe she was lost down here or injured." He thought to himself. He then put his hand up at Julia as if he was halting her... As tempting as it would be to dust you I'm really not in the mood. I have a treat for you though. He then pointed in the direction of where the girl was... You're hungry right? Max never saw a vampire feed or better yet sire. He wanted to see and live through the experience...

Julia wasn’t going to stop. She had every intentions of killing this man, sucking him dry. But she heard a whimpering, young girl by the sound of it, no more than the age of ten. She would rather feed off of that any day. It was strange, but Julia did have a type that she preferred to feed on, like some sort of serial killer’s profile. Young girls, somewhere between the ages of eight and eighteen typically. Any older was too old and younger was simply too young. She didn’t know why she liked it that way, she just did.
So, she moved on. Swiftly, she followed her senses, going in the direction that the man had pointed out. And there she was, the little girl, crying as she hugged her knees to her chest. It was just too easy. Julia didn’t even look back to the man before she was on top of the girl, teeth biting into her neck, draining her blood. It was messy, blood began to spurt out from the girl’s neck, going everywhere, covering Julia. Normally, she would be more careful, take more time, but she wasn’t herself right now.
