; ; So she had been training, pretty hard actually, which always built up her appetite. So what else was she to do? She could go and grab take out, bring it back to her room and eat it alone, or she could wait to see if anyone she knew came out soon, ask them to join her. It beat eating alone hands down! Chelsea stood at the entrance of the Slayer's headquarters, a building that had all but become her home these last few years. She had nothing but fond memories of the place, it was far better than where she had come from. Here no one really judged her for what she was, purely because they were all in the same boat. So what if she was a Slayer, she was in a building of Slayers. It didn't matter what her history was, where she came from... all that mattered here was where she was going, whether she trained hard enough to survive each fight. So far, it had been so good.
; ; Stretching out her limbs, Chelsea pushed the lactic acid... or whatever it was called, from her muscles, making sure she wouldn't cramp up later on. The hot shower she'd had after work out had helped with that a little, easing her muscles with promises of no more for the rest of the day.... hopefully. She was dressed in a clean spaghetti strap top with a pair of tight jeans, her dirty gym clothes in the bag that hung from her shoulder. Her hair hadn't dried, it was slowly air drying into loose curls. Leaning against the nearest wall, she crossed one leg over the other, folding one arm across her stomach whilst she looked at the fingernails on her other hand.[/blockquote

She'd only been in Misery for 3 days now, but it was sorta hard for her not knowing many people. So far she had only met Spencer (duh), Xander who seemed more than happy to let the little blonde stay at his place, Willow and Chelsea. Chelsea, though their meeting had been brief, had been the one that Alyssa could get on with a little better. She wasn't too sure what was going on in her life right now and she was even more confused as to the fact she wasn't running once more. Something was keeping her in misery but she knew exactly what it was. Spencer.
Alyssa had already tidied Xander's place from top to bottom. She'd gone through 2 pots of coffee and couldn't seem to settle on anything on the television. She knew Spence had gone to work out, so she decided to screw it. She popped into her car and drove over there. She was going mad on her own. It seemed he kept giving her snippets of what his world entailed and then saying 'i gotta go'. Besides she was worried every time a car went past. She didn't want to freak and set fire to the place. That would be bad.
As Alyssa popped out of the car, her legs extended out from the flirty and flowery skirted pink dress she wore . She jangled her keys between her thumb and her fingers, holding the loop of the key chain over her forefinger as she dragged herself in the direction of the entrance. She then spotted the pretty brunette stood outside the doors, Chelsea. She smiled in her direction, not wanting to be rude and just walk on past. "Well hi again. "

; ; Chelsea's mind had absently wandered away from her as she picked blindly at her delicately manicured nails. It was one of the luxuries she loved, especially with all the hell she put her hands through on a day to day basis. Her mind had wandered away not to some sunny beach, secluded and quiet where she mentally lay on the white sand, topping up her tan, oh no, her daydream was of a far more interesting nature. In her mind, she was planning the night ahead, a night of drinking, dancing, flirting, maybe more and hopefully, no vampires or demons. There was a club she had become quite a fan of since she had started living in Misery... and yes, she had noticed the double meaning to that phrase... and how ironic it was that she had moved to Misery to escape a life of it. She liked the music they played there but, most of all, the reason she picked which nights she went there carefully, was the bartender... nameless but certainly not faceless. He was as close to ideal as Chelsea figured there was for her. Tall, dark, rugged, chiseled features and, although she'd never seen him shirtless, she'd noticed the muscle definition beneath the tops he wore... oh that boy was ripped! They'd never exchanged names, but they'd exchanged looks across the bar and general flirting when she ordered drinks.
; ; So, between picking out what to wear for the night ahead, how to wear her hair, whether to go dark and seductive with the make up or bright and fresh to what she hoped, every night she went out, what it would end like... those two, tangled in a mass of bedsheets, hot... sweaty... and now she needed another shower, a really, really, REALLY cold one. Her sordid little mental image could have been the reason why, when Alyssa spoke to her, Chelsea almost jumped out of her skin and blushed to a similar colour of a tomato. Way to go, Slayer girl... if that had been a vampire or something, she'd have been dead. Of course, vampires wouldn't be attacking, you know, this time of day.
"Oh... hi... Alyssa." She managed a smile, waving the hand she'd been picking at. Chelsea was pretty good with names, even if they had only met once before... and very briefly. Deciding she had better cover her tracks, she figured a censored version of the truth was probably best, "Sorry... I was off in my own little world there. How are you?" Despite having lived in Misery a few years, her accent was still as British as they come.

Walking around the watchers council was not Spencers idea of fun. He could think of far better things to do with his time like urm Facebook? Spencer smiled at the young slayers as he passed them not getting much back he was trying to be nice to them but it was hard when they just made him feel like he doesn’t belong. It wasn’t a nice feeling to have. He was doing the same as them, helping the world and hello he had a disadvantage he didn’t have the sense and dreams like them.
Spencer had gone to the doctor for his weekly check up. They wanted to keep tabs on him make sure everything was fine with his vitals and such. They actually didn’t know what they were looking for to be honest. It had never happened so they just did what they could wondering if it would help.
Then he had gone to see Kay, she wanted him to pick up a few things from town for her… one being a pregnancy kit. Apparently she did this with every guy she had slept with. It was a one night thing that happened months ago with them. He wasn’t worried because he knew he wore the helmet. Plus she did that thing she does when she’s telling a lie. That girl was messed up, but he needed a release.
He was on the second floor of the watchers council now walking out onto the balcony the sun was shining brightly which lead his eyes trying to adjust to the light from inside to outside. He was wearing his normal black t-shirt with some words printed on the back, this time is was “Then Buffy staked Edward. The end” some of the girls likes his tops some thought he was a jack ass. He liked this top as well he was never a fan of the Twilight books yet the girls here loved them… I mean hello they fought real vampires… he just didn’t get it.
He went out looking over at the grounds the sun heating his already sweaty body from the work out. He noticed C down near the gates are and she was talking to another blond girl… Alyssa. She was here….
Spencer pushed himself up onto the side with his hands till he was doing a hand stand and then pushed himself into the air doing a flip before he hit the ground. Not the most graceful thing he had ever done but he made it to the ground with out dying however his back would beg to differ. He jumped up as fast as his back would let him and ran to the two girls. Hoping they didn’t see.
“Heyy” Spencer said almost drooling over Alyssa. Then tripped. It was one of the things he was known for. Tripping was his thing.

In a quasi-giggle, Alyssa smiled as Chelsea said about being in a little world of her own. The as she asked how she was, Alyssa just gave her a little nonchalant shrug. "You know... same old... What about you? Having fun stood on your own in the doorway?" Alyssa couldnt resist letting a little stick of the tongue emerge with that sentence. Chelsea seemed like a nice enough girl and she was actually pleasant to Alyssa so who was she to throw it in her face?
It was as Alyssa was awaiting a response when she heard Spencer call out to them. Her head turned to view him, her blonde locks flying about wildly. And then as Spencer fell splat to the floor she couldn't NOT laugh. Covering her mouth in an attempt to hide it but it was so clear. She moved over to him and held out her hands to help him up. For a big ole slayer he was so bloody accident prone.
Eyes rolling, she averted them back to Chelsea. "Men..." She didn't know what else to say. Then as Spencer got to his feet she looked up at him. "You're an idiot... I cant believe they expect you to have anything to do with saving the world." Alyssa could get away with teasing him like that right!?

; ; Chelsea nodded to her answer, yup she knew that old feeling, same old, same old... it was a feeling she had on a daily basis when she was 'normal'. Well that was a shocking thought, to consider her Bible bashing parents and their hypocritical ways normal. If only they could see her now, fighting vampires as part of her everyday life. Yet, considering she thought her old life to be normal, there was no way she wanted to go back to it. Not now, not ever. She like abnormal, she liked being accepted for being just a little bit extraordinary.
"Oh... haven't you heard? It's all the rage in New York at the moment, alone in the doorway is the new place to be." She grinned at Alyssa, showing off her pearly white teeth, "I heard Lindsay Lohan was seen doing just this a few nights ago." [/color] ; ; Before Chelsea's mouth could run away from her and help her make a fool of herself, Spencer, Mr. Boy Wonder, took the heat off her by calling out. Smiling, and internally sighing gratefully to him, she watched him run across the grass and trip, most ungracefully, as he approached them. Her smile dropped for a moment as her reflexes kicked in, moving automatically forward in case she had to stop him face planting the grass. Luckily, for his face and his ego, that wasn't needed, besides Alyssa was there to help him up.... which Chelsea was pretty sure he'd prefer, so she pulled back with a wide grin across her lips. She laughed at Alyssa's little dig at him. Oh bless him, he couldn't help it that he had two left feet... but she was right about the men comment. "It was because of political correctness, you know? We had to fill our male quota..." She stepped forward, getting closer to the pair, turning her attentions to Spencer, "You alright? We really should talk to the groundkeeper about these molehills." Okay, so mole hills? She was improvising, trying to help him recover a little dignity. "Not molehills... sorry... not enough coffee today... umm... you know... the... umm... what's it called... lumpy ground I guess." So she might not have been able to save his dignity but she'd pretty much lowered hers to a similar level. Smooooth Slayer girl... smoooooooooth. Letting out a slow breath, she brightened with a smile, "So... who wants to come get some coffee and food with me?" When in doubt, distract people with food and drink.[/blockquote]
