Lisa hadn’t had a chance to change, since her meeting she had took some of the slayers to the training room to see how they had progressed. She hadn’t taken off Finns hat all day and didn’t intend to until she saw him again, she had tilted it downwards covering her eyes to keep out the sun. But now walking along to the along the pavement she looked up at the sky, the sun would be fully down in about another 5 minutes and vampires would be starting to come out of there hiding places to find a tasty treat.
Lisa had ran home just before and picked up a few supplies, a couple of stakes and a few long sharp daggers that they would need if they came across any demons these where all tucked away for now in a black bag Lisa had across her back. She walked at a steady pace and then she spotted him, Finn stood by the entrance of the graveyard waiting for her, just like he said he would be, she couldn’t help but let a big grin come across her face.
“Your early” she grinned at him, tilting his hat on her head a little so she could see better.

Finn smirked and bowed "Well I refused to keep a lady waiting, especially when she looks as good as you do. I see you brought a bag of toys and my hats still in one piece. So far so good."
What he wasn't going to tell her was that he had spent an hour or so before arriving to walk around the area and get a feel for it. Something he didn't want to do was make a fool of himself by running into a tree or post mid-combat.
He stretched and looked at her with a grin "So you ready for this, patrolling and the fact I'm about to die kinda as soon as the suns gone?" It was hard to explain what it felt like when the sun went down, the rush of power that came with his vampire side becoming stronger, the strange slowing of his heart to an almost stop and the way the night just seemed to be so much more alive than before with things he would never be able to sense human.

Lisa took the bag off her shoulders and put it on the ground, unzipping it she pulled out two stakes “Going to need this” she smiled handing one to Finn. She zipped the bag back up and put it back over her shoulders “Ready as ever” she replied. “You die?” she then asked curiously. Lisa had never heard of a half vampire before so had no clue what happened once the sun went down, so far Finn had just appeared as a normal human during the day.
“So what happens to you? Do you just turn into a vampire or something?” she started walking into the cemetery as the sun finally fell. She looked at Finn expecting something to happen to him, she didn’t know what it was but she just thought something might happen like his face morphing into a vampires or him loosing his soul and going all evil. Lisa just didn’t know what to expect now.

Finn took the stake and spun it around in his palm, tossing it and catching it again "Good old stakes, hard to go dusting without one I suppose, easier to hide than a big sword if the cops come by too."
Finn looked at the sun as it set and then took her hand and placed it over his heart "Well first this happens." He kept her hand there, lightly pressed against his chest, letting her feel the speeding heart slow down until it was almost stopped, maybe a couple of beats a minute. "Eyes and teeth next" He smirked a little, his normally blue eyes had shifted hue, now a sort of greenish ting infected them and his incisors had grown into a set of fangs.
"There, all done. Was that horrible or anything?" His mannerisms had changed subtley, no one but those attuned to supernatural would notice he was more feral in his body lanuage, a hunter in the darkness.
"Also, we're on a more even field now. Two slayer types instead of one. I guess I should tell you, I drink blood at night. Every three nights or so or I get sick. I don't kill though, I have enough problems without losing my human side." Finn frowned a little and shook his head "I'm sorry if this is a bit much, I figure you should know it all at the start, you know?"

She held her hand onto Finns chest, she could feel his heart racing along and then it stopped, she kept her hand there and looked up at Finn, his heart wasn’t beating but he was still stood there holding her hand on his chest. Then it took another beat, it was just one but it was a beat, it showed he was so different from vampires, just because he was half a vampire he still had a heart that was beating keeping him alive. His eyes went greener but Lisa could still see a spot of blue twinkling in them. There wasn’t much of a difference as Finns teeth changed they where just a little pointier “All the better to bite with” she joked at them.
And Finn had changed just like that but he was still Finn, it didn’t bother Lisa at all, it just made him seem more special; he was one of a kind. As he spoke his voice was a little fiercer, a little bit darker than his natural voice, most girls would probably agree at Lisa thinking it made him a little bit hotter. “Kind of sexy if you ask me” she smiled. There was something about him now that just made him seem stronger than he did before.
Lisa was messing around with the stake in her hand as she listened to what Finn was saying when he said something that made her drop it. Quickly picking the stake off the floor she looked at Finn wondering how to react “You drink human blood…” was all she could manage. Her first thought was that he was just like any other vampire but then he added that he didn’t kill and it was only every three nights to stop him from being ill.
After a few seconds that seemed more like an hour Lisa had thought it through, he was just doing what he had to do to stay well, its what anyone else would do and he probably didn’t like having to do it, for him it was just either that or well probably die. “Sorry” she said. She sighed a little, it was her duty to kill the things that drank blood, not date them. Finn was so different though, he was good and he had a soul and helped in the fight against evil. No one would agree of course but isn’t it just like Buffy when she was dating Angel, she would understand but even if she didn’t Lisa wouldn’t care, it was her business not anyone else’s and she wasn’t going to let something that could be so good go just because of a little set back. “I like your honesty” she smiled warmly “It is a little bit weird but I will deal with it, I’ll even give you my blood if you need it”

Finn had watched her carefully, this was a big part of who he was and it was important she understood. When she dropped the stake he stopped, the blood thing was a big part of it. He had once slit his own wrists over the guilt it gave him but it just made things worse. It was as hard for him to accept people where food at times as it was for others to take that he had to do it.
And then she shocked him. Offering to let him feed from her. It was a little deja vu like but he smiled instead of showing his shock "Thank you, that...that means a lot and makes life a lot easier for both of us. Slayers regenerate so much faster than normal people, it wouldn't make that much of a differance to you considering how little I take."
It seemed like she was willing to accept him for all he was, he didn't really have that big a problem with her being a Slayer, it was then that it dawned on him and he began to look about "You know its just occured to me, your on patrol on your own. Don't you have a watcher or something to keep an eye on you?"

well that was all sorted then, when Finn needed blood he could take Lisa’s and for some reason she really didn’t mind. Maybe it was because she knew that he wouldn’t have to worry about taking someone else’s blood or harm someone else getting it. When he needed it Lisa would just give it up to him and although she hadn’t known him that long she trusted him. That was one of Lisa’s biggest flaws; she just trusted people way too easily which often ended in her getting hurt more when the trust was lost. She couldn’t see that happening with Finn, something about the look in his eye told her that everything he had said was genuine.
As Finn brought up the watchers, she smiled Lisa didn’t have a watcher and neither did many slayers in misery. “there are too many slayers for all the watchers to cover, here in Misery there are probably more slayers than human women.” she paused as she thought she had heard something but taking a look around she couldn’t see anything so continued “The watchers are mostly assigned to the slayers who are around the world because here in misery we have the council for the slayers. At the council we train them like a watcher would but there is just so many more. Unless it was felt that a slayer needed a watcher here they don’t have one, instead one of the Scooby gang for them to report to or me who is Buffy’s second; I’m in charge when it comes to slayer stuff when she’s not around.” she explained

Finn stopped moving and looked quite shocked "More Slayers than normal women? Thats a story you'll need to tell me another night. I don't think its first date material. Right now I have a more important question."
Finn moved closer, right up against her and inhaled deeply at her neck "What perfume is that, its driving me nuts you smell amazing." Smirking he kissed her forehead and said quietly "I think we might have company coming, not sure how many or what yet though. This is gonna be one hella fun first night out don't you think?"
Turning he rotated the stake in his hand again, keeping it pointed inwards and looked out to see what was coming to say hello
"One thing Beautiful, I take it that bags got some bigger stabby things in it, just incase this is a bit tougher than a Mr Pointy?

Lisa raised an eyebrow, A more important question? she smiled as he kissed her head “Now that is called black star” she grinned. She then stood there quietly as Finn mentioned them having company, she could feel it, her slayer sense was tingling. Well it wasn’t exactly tingling her sense was more of a sixth sense, she just knew that something wasn’t right, that something other than human was near. It was strange that Finn never set her slayer senses off but she guessed that was because he was half human, he lived unlike other vampires. “Oh it is going to be fun. Your right there is more than just stakes in here” she whispered “I think there behind us” she added and as Finn turned herself around she did the same.
Coming towards them were a gang of five vampires, they stopped and looked at Lisa and Finn eyeing them up. To the vampires they would just look like a cute couple taking a risky stroll through the grave yard at night. The one in the middle looked like the biggest and the dumbest smirked at the others and said something, with that they all began to walk with ease towards the two.
Lisa’s hand tightened around the stake she was holding “You ready? Lets get this over and done with” Lisa grinned she didn’t move though she waited for them, she never liked to make the first move unless she had too, she preferred waiting for the enemy to make the attack, it helped her as she could see what was going to be thrown at her so she could block it then make her move.

Finn could feel them as they got closer, it was like the hairs on the back of his neck raised up but it filled him with a strange annoyance, it was like someone was here to take his food and he wasn't going to allow it.
Turning he looked the vamps over and sighed softly "Theres only five of you? Crying aloud you'd think a guy takes a girl out on a date then the local fang faces would at least roll out a small gang or a demon or something special you know?"
This was where Finn confidence was, in some views, best used. As he strode towards the enemy he seemed calm and cocky, talking as he went. Seriously though, a pretty girl deserves some effort and I have to say I am really disappointed. Hows this going to compare to a candle lit dinner or a movie huh? I was hoping for a kiss later and you leeches have totally ruined it"
The vamps looked at each other confused, what the hell was this guy going on about but he was now close enough to grab. The nearest one to Finn, a youngish looking guy dressed in denim moved quickly. His arms snaking out to grab the Dhampyr. Finn chuckled "annnnnnnn we have a winner!"
With a twist of his wrist the stake popped the goon like a cheap party balloon full of dust and that was it, the other vamps went on the attack. From Lisa's point of view she could see Finn fighting pretty well, it slowly dawning on her that his movements and attacks where setting up places for her to attack as well. He was creating openings for her to get into stake them unharmed.
