Story of my life;;
Family:
Kate Page, Mother [deceased]
Ron Page, Dad [soon to be deceased]
Amy Page, Adopted Sister
History:
Born into a family that couldn’t maintain a child, Elliott was put up for adoption at a young age. With no memory or knowledge about his real family, except that he had a younger brother, he was adopted into the Page family at the early age of 3. The Page family were heavily involved in the watchers council. The mother Kate was a fully fledged witch who was working for them as a secretary and librarian. The father Ron was a trainee watcher at the time and spent most of his time at the council learning and studying in case he was ever needed. And his adopted sister Amy was a potential slayer until Willow Rosenberg’s spell turned her fully. Elliott always felt a bit left out as he couldn’t see where he fitted in to the big scheme of things.
As a child he and his sister were home schooled, taken of the typical curriculum and taught the occult based knowledge that somebody living in the Page family would need for their planned future careers. He was taught a lot about demons and monsters but found magic in particular a very intriguing subject. By the age of thirteen he could already make objects like feathers levitate and Kate had even said that ‘it was like he was born to do this.”[/i] However his family soon learned that he was by no means a Mary Sue as his short temper and growing teenage angst meant that he was very emotionally unstable during his early teens and still now at the age of 16 can lose control of himself and have a complete power out for days. His father says he needs some serious guidance because soon the magic could be controlling him.
He started a job at the council young and has always been on call however Ron, at the time, being a fairly senior and an experienced member of the council, was always using his influence to try and keep Elliott and Amy away from the danger that came with the job description, even if that meant cancelling their jobs. However The First was not something that Ron could control and when the watchers council was destroyed the entire family was devastated by the loss of Kate in the explosion.
Looking for revenge, both Elliott and Amy have, to this day, been building up their supernatural knowledge and have vowed to fight evil to the day they die, despite their fathers objections. To this day every evil thing they have managed to kill and the lifestyle they have chosen is symbolic of honouring Kate’s death. Recently Elliott and Amy feel it would be wise to move to Misery Valley in aid of the ongoing battles and the fighting that is involved with a hell mouth. Elliott personally also would love to meet the legendary Willow.
Sample Role Play;;
Blue = Elliott Magenta = Amy
[/color] Amy called out a similar sentiment but with a few more tears and a slight croak in her throat. Why wasn’t Elliott as emotional as her ... they were leaving their dad, alone, to go to a different country, to lead a dangerous life ... she felt he deserved a better goodbye then this.
The door slammed shut “I don’t care dad, we’re going anyway!” Elliott was fuming, but Amy continued to give him her disapproving look behind the now locked door. Elliott was packing his bag franticly and reluctantly Amy joined in; Elliott couldn’t believe that after everything their father was just going to keep them home, when they were obviously needed and they could fight evil on a whole new level at Misery Valley. The shouts from their father Ron were fairly loud but muffled by Amy’s calming overtones through the door that Elliott was refusing to open.“It’s ok dad, seriously! We’ll call you every day and everything.” With a hurt face she turned back and picked up her luggage. Elliott had locked the door and he wasn’t going to let anyone in ... or out. He and Amy were both going to go and help, with or without their father’s blessing. As well as kicking evil ass he also wanted to meet Willow! Honestly, he knew categorically that his father couldn’t stop them but he decided that it was best to avoid confrontation.
Calmly Elliott moved his normal bag to the side, full of clothes, photos, toiletries and then in its place he placed a second bag. He shut his eyes and held his hands out. With this motion, draws opened, objects flew and books floated all filing perfectly and neatly to the very top of the bag as if it was about to overflow. This bag contained all of his best and personal magic paraphernalia, his life’s worth of notes and book collection as well as powders, herbs, and objects that were pretty priceless, including his own mothers notebook. With this he opened his eyes and the final two objects, a piece of red chalk and a small white bag of powder flew into his hand. He placed the two luggage bags by his feet and started to draw a circle around him with the chalk as he faced the door and called out for his father to stop banging.
Amy grabbed her already packed bag and dropped it on Elliott’s toes purposefully, she was glaring, her older sister look radiating her annoyance and even though physically she was smaller, her look was enough to make a wild animal feel like a mouse. “You’re not even going to say goodbye!” There was a pause and then she sighed and folded her arms. Elliott sighed in a mocking mimic of his sisters and then began to call out, mainly to amuse his sister, “We’ll call you when we get there ... I’m sorry dad.”
Ron’s objections, although muffled, were pretty predictable but what surprised both Amy and Elliott the most was the sudden relax in his banging and the change in tone, “I love you both ... please stay safe” With this Elliott took out some of the powder from the white silk bag and mumbled a chant under his breath. It was a teleportation spell and it would transport the pair directly to where they wanted to go. Amy, making sure everything they needed was in the circle, took out a piece of paper with the address of their destination on and burnt it. “Colestro.” The final word was uttered and then they were gone. The door was unlocked and Ron caught a glimpse of his waving children for the last time in his life.
