Ellie couldnt help but begin to doubt her growing fasination with this man. He was armed, and he came there specifically to kill dust her. So why shouldnt she attack him while she had a chance? Add to the fact that she was starting to get really hungry ... He was practically a free meal. Just standing there, oblivious-like to her bloodlust.
She kept a growl in and retained her human face. Reverting to her vampire state would only probably make the fighting ensue. She was totally fine with a fight, but man was she starving. This clogged her mind as she stared at a spot on the ground, thinking deciding whether or not to lunge at him first. Her better half won when Jonathan spoke. Her eyes darted up at him and glowed with hatred.
The vamp. didnt really like demons. In fact, she thought they were a group of blithering oafs who didnt know what they were supposed to do. Hit, kill, run types of creatures. Sure, a few are able to speak and were actually really smart, but true demons are horrible, hidious monsters. A sneer rose on her face. She kept her mouth shut and resolved in staring blankly at the man as he spoke on.
Ellie shrugged nonchalantly as she crossed her arms over her chest, again. "It's just, i've never heard of any demonis fighting style. To me most demons arent the brightest."

Jonathan could feel the blood urges inside of Ellie swelling up, just barely contained by her curiosity now.
Oh baby girl, you do not want to fight me... Jonathan thought to himself. But even as he thought it something dark and ugly reared it's head and grinned at the prospect of a little bloodshed.
Jonathan suppressed a similar grin and took a step towards Ellie, the space between them now minimal.
"No... you're right." He replied, his voice little more than a gleeful whisper. "Most demons are... mindless. Rampagers."
He supressed it no more, a slow, dark smile spread across Jonathan's features. His eyes seemed to glow softly.
"But the one who raised me... Burme... oh, you would've liked Burme Ellie. He was a being of pure darkness. A seducer and manipulator through and through. Old as the wind and strong as an earthquake. Yeah, he taught me a demon fighting style. Energy, life-force... it moves around my body, gives me power. Gives me the strength of four humans if I focus it right. And allows me to control the knock-back of a blow I strike. A sweet shot to the head at full power with minimal knock-back is the rough equivalent of a point-blank shotgun blast - enough to cause a human... or Vampire's head to explode."
He let out a small laugh and stretched his shoulders before settling and leaning in close to Ellie.
"The world has a population of just under seven billion people Ellie. Seven billion humans, anyway. My training means that out of all of those, I am the only one alive who is physically capable of beating a Vampire to death. The entire number of human beings ever to have lived is estimated to be around 110 billion and still I would be the only one capable of such a thing. The entire Vampire population might be around a million or so the entire amount of Vampires ever, might be approaching one billion, maybe more, but it's a billion varying degrees of the same. I am one in a hundred and ten billion."
Jonathan straightened back up, his features relaxing.
"You still wanna fight me Honey? 'cos I don't just read where and what people are - a little focus and I can pick out their immediate intentions as well. And I know you've been thinking about it." He cocked his head to one side and smiled. "Or hey, it's night outside. You could just walk away. I've had fun tonight - you have a mind that is very satisfying to watch at work. I could go one way, you could go the other. Your call Sweetheart."

The change in Jonathan was obvious to a well trained eye. He seemed to liking the prospect of a little blood. He seemed to be holding back a sinister grin as he took a step forward, practically closing the space between them. Ellie's eyes narrowed and she rose her head to stare him in the eyes.
As Jonathan spoke, his change became even more obvjous than before. The smile he had been holding in went across his face and his eyes had a slight demonic glow to them. No wonder this man was raised by demons, he's practically one himself, Ellie thought to herself. But she'd taken on a large number of demons in her days, and a nea-one was no problem.
The name that Jonathan brought up struck memories in the girl. She'd never seen him, nor met him, but she'd heard of him. Apparently he was pretty good, but got tied down sometime or another. Now Ellie knew that it was because of the man in front of her. A smirk spread across her face, though, as he described this 'demonic fighting style'. Sounds fun, Ellie's mind hissed. She'd heard humans brag about their fighting abilities. She's heard everything from force like a cannon to a quickness of a ... quick thing. But only statements can be proven true by fights and in the end the human comes out on the bottom, literally, as she drinks them.
Jonathan soon stopped laughing and leaned so close to her that she could smell his breath. Ellie flexed her fingers and glared up at him. If this was his idea of a quick kill, think again. Still, as the man spoke about how he's the only one capable of doing the things he does, she didnt get intimidated. She was far beyond that point in her vampire career. During the first ten years a vamp. gets freaked at the tiniest things and follows other vamps. Then after ten years they think their the strongest. And finally, after their at least 50 years they are able to grasp the bigger picture. They realize how small they are, or how large, and figure out that they can be killed. So, by Ellie's age, she doesnt jump into things. He stricks first, or no strike at all. I'm not stupid, Ellie thought.
Babble much? Ellie questioned, to herself of course. When he finally stopped talking, the vampire let out a satisfying sigh and shook her head. "You know, no one's called me sweetheart since 1871. I dont plan on anyone starting to either." Ellie's look turned even more sour than it had been, if that's possible, as she glared at him. "I've seen a good amount of humans in my day. To me they were either weak or strong. True, you do seem strong but bragging about what you can do ticks people, mainly me, off. There are Slayers and i admit, they can do pretty harmful things. To me, you're classified as harmless. Now, this is my home. Leave now or attack. I dont care."

Jonathan leaned back and laughed briefly.
Well, she's got more balls than most people I know... He thought to himself. It'd be an interesting scrap... but not tonight.
Jonathan turned and began to walk away, keeping a fix on where Ellie was.
"Nice talking to you." He said with a small smirk. Jonathan didn't start a fight unless he had to - not because he didn't think he could win, but because it didn't fit his own personal code of conduct; Ellie was right when she'd figured that Jonathan was practically a demon himself - in some ways that was how he thought of himself and on principal he treated the same way he'd treat a human.
"By the way..." he called over his shoulder, "If you don't want any Slayer-wannabes or organisations with a bit of tech behind them scoping you out, you might want to invest in a heater; this place is a several degrees colder than it should be - sure sign of some kind of demonic habitation."

Jonathan was an interesting man, and Ellie doesnt attack someone who's walking away for it's a cowardly thing to do. Instead she let him walk off; he got in by himself so she wouldnt bother to show him the door. Her eyes did narrow, however. She'd only known him for around fifteen minutes, how would she know if he'd turn and dust her or not. And in her consentration on making sure he didnt attack her, she hardly heard his words.
"Heater...several degrees colder...demonic inhabitation..." he said as he spoke. Quite frankly, she wouldnt have listened to him anyways. And it's not as if she'd care if Slayers attacked her. She's held her own against a few before. Besides, talking your way out of things is much more fun. Ellie smirked as Jonathan walked from view. Her eyes closed in bliss and she thought. If she stayed, he may come back but it was so cozy here. I'll leave, Ellie decided and turned to head out the escape entance. Now onto a fun night of men, music, and blood. [/blockquote]
