Will Xander Chose to join Jin in her quest for destruction? Can Giles, Dawn and Buffy find there way out of the fog? Read the original Fan Fic by Trish//Buri to find out!
A child, no older than twelve, walked through the doorway of the shop. Her blue grey eyes glowing with evil. She was in a black kimono. The tips were red. The obi was also red. She ws barefoot.
“What may I help you with?” Said the cashier sleepily.
“Actually, it’s just a little favor.” She said her voice was giddy with excitement. She sent a ball of black energy at the man.
Black….
Buffy, Willow and Xander sat in the car. Giles drove in silence. No one said anything. They were all to disturbed to speak. They had gotten a phone call. It was a police. He had barley been able to speak. There was apparently a name. Spelled in blood. They could not get the cop to tell them what name. Giles parked the car in the Misery Valley magic shop parking lot. The windows were shattered as was the glass door. The items on the shelves were dislodged. The shop was in shambles. That’s not the worst part though. Blood dripped from the ceiling, the walls and was spattered on the floor.
“Where is this name?” Buffy said to the confused cop. He pointed up and whimpered. Everyone looked up. It was a name alright. Spelled in blood. They could all read it but they had never met the person with this name before. A whimper came from Willow. She looked at the name with tears in her eyes.
“Jin…” She squeaked. Buffy spun around to look at Willow.
“Will what’s the matter?” Buffy said and rushed to her friend’s side. Buffy pulled Willow into a hug for she could tell something was wrong. The tears were starting to fall from Willows eyes.
“Its okay its-“ Buffy began but was rudely interrupted by Xander.
“Oh my god.” He said. He was behind the counter. The cashier was on the ground. He looked like he had been burnt and then cut open. Xander shook his head and put a blanket over the body.
“Will, do you know this Jin person?” He asked obviously angry. His hands were balled into fists and his one eye shone with rage.
“I can’t tell you!” She cried the tears were streaming freely.
“You’ll kill her!”
“Yeah Will that’s the idea! Whoever this Jin person is she’s not safe!”
“I can’t let you kill her! I made a promise!”
“Well forget it! Its just a stupid promise!”
“I promised Tara!” With that everyone went quite. Willow had never truly gotten over Tara’s death. Buffy attempted to comfort Willow.
“Lets go.” Xander growled and stormed out the door.
“Xander wait.” Giles said and went after him to try and calm him. Buffy looked at Willow. Something is up. She has never fallen apart like this over a simple demon or whatever Jin is. With that final thought Buffy helped Willow out the door without looking back.
End Chapter one. (The chapters are going to be very short)
Dawn sat on her bed listening to music. Her head bobbed with the beat. She heard the front door slam. She took of her ear phones and listened to Giles and Xander whispering about ‘Jin’. She recognized the was Buffy was walking up the stairs. Something was up. Willow’s bedroom door shut and Buffy went back down to talk with Xander and Giles. Dawn sat silently on her bed waiting for someone to explain what was going on. No one came. She finally got up and walked down the hall to Willow’s room. Willow sat in one corner looking out the window. She turned her head to look at Dawn.
“Hey Dawny.” Willow said. Dawn could see she had been crying.
“What’s up Willow?” Dawn said and crossed her arms.
“Nothing. It was just a really bad crime scene.” Willow said and put on a fake smile.
“Willow I know you to good to fall for that now spit it out.” Dawn said and sat down next to the redhead.
“Your getting to smart for your own good.” Willow joked. Then her smile dropped. She new Dawn would not tell anyone. Willow could not hold it any longer.
“Jin. At the crime scene ‘Jin’ was spelled in blood on the ceiling in blood. Jin was Tara’s childhood friend. Jin was murdered though. Tara managed to attach Jin’s soul to her mind. So Jin became part of Tara. Tara made me promise to protect Jin no matter what. At first I did not understand but just went along with it. Now I get what she meant. But I’m still confused. For one Jin was a sweat little girl that would not hurt a fly. Another thing she should have died when Tara did.” Willow explained and looked at the speechless Dawn.
“Tell Buffy I went on a walk.” Willow murmured and left her bedroom. Dawn stood up slowly and exited to her own bedroom to mull this all over.
End Chapter two.
