Something of an Existance Getting by, passing time, barely moving...
Hope stood at the edge of the lake, looking at the water. It was almost frozen, due to the cold temperatures. A gust of wind blew, and Hope tugged on her oversized sweatshirt, desperately trying to keep warm. She shouldn't be here, it was too out in the open. But it was night, the shadows would prevent anyone from seeing her face, so she didn't worry too much.
She had already been in Misery Valley for a few days, had already made her home in some abandoned warehouse. The invasion on it her first day made her want to leave, but something kep her tied to this town and she didn't know why. The cops weren't involved in what had happened, so it shouldn't hurt if she stayed a little longer.
Hope crossed her arms over her chest, holding them there as she watched the lake. She watched the guard down at the other end shut off his light, he was going to bed for the night. It was better that way.

A slight breeze hit Havens face as she rushed past the trees that lead to the lake. Her pale skin was porclein against her back hair and ice blue eyes. Something was chasing her, it was a werewolf. If was a full moon after all. Haven was panting and her skin was sweating. She screamed as the werewolf struck her back with his claws and she fell to the floor. Her body was aching but she wasnt going to let this creature beat her.
The werewolf pushed both of them out of the woods and landing near Hope. She jumped up and her fangs extened to full length and her eyes turned lumonscent blue. Her black fingernails extened slightly as well as she opened her mouth and hissed violently at the wereworld who growled back. She lunged forward and tackles the werewolf to the ground.

Hope jumped slightly as something fell next to her, gripping her gun instinctively. Without really thinking about it, she pointed it at the two fighters, holding it steady. If any of them turned her way, she would shoot without hesitation. Hope couldn’t tell what the two creatures were, well one of them anyways. One was a vampire, Hope recognized them clear as day. But the other, she wasn’t entirely sure. She would guess it was a werewolf based on its appearance.
As they fought on the ground, Hope was unsure who to kill first. In most cases it would be the vampire, but here the werewolf seemed like more of a threat. Eliminate the biggest threat first, take down the rest later. Coming to a conclusion in her head, Hope pointed the gun at the wolf and waited until there was a somewhat clear shot. She really didn’t care if she hit the vampire in the process however. As the wolf turned her way she fired three rounds into its neck, severing the spinal cord, and two into its hear. It made no noise as it fell dead. One of the bullets had skinned the vampire in the arm, but it didn’t really matter.

The last bullet that came from somewhere Haven couldnt see struck her arm and peeled up some of the skin. Haven cringed as she turned to where the shot had come from and growled as she saw a girl standing there with a gun. She looked pretty confident with it and she knew how to and where to hit the werewolf to kill it. Haven didnt want to get shot. She wasnt that stupid.
"My bet is that you know where to put that bullet huh?" Haven asked, her breath ragged as she kept herself up, even though the large gashes in her back were making it hard to stay upright. But she had to. She couldnt look weak, especially infront of a human. Wait...A slayer?. Haven thought she could sense something earlier but just thought it was the werewolf.

Hope continued to hold the gun up, pointing at the vampire’s neck, just the spot needed to decapitate her. “Without a doubt,” she told her. She knew exactly where to point the gun, exactly where to fire it at. She could do it without blinking, taking no remorse in killing neither the vampire nor the werewolf. And soon, she would fire it.
Looking to the side, just briefly, Hope noticed the body of the dead werewolf. But the thing was, it didn’t look like it had just moment’s ago, it had taken on human form with its death. It didn’t falter Hope any. She had killed humans before. She would kill whatever was necessary for her own survival. Smirking slightly, Hope looked back up at the vampire. Would the vampire recognize how cold she was inside?
