The quiet night was shattered by the sound of a motorbike racing through the dark streets. As those that were still out looked for the sound, the rider turned the corner, heading towards the shipping yard. Her senses were much better than humans thanks to her mutant ability, but her main 'power' sucked at times. No contact with others, lest she wanted memories of their life, plus a headache. On second thought, sometimes it was good, especially if they were another mutant. Thinking of mutants lead her to think of Kitty, someone she had befriended at the school. But Kitty had escaped, leaving her to deal with everyone alone. The bitter woman who had stopped the bike in the shipping yard took of her helmet, revealing long brown hair with two white stripes. Her outfit was made of black leather, her boots were steel capped and would do major damage if she kicked you.
Getting off her bike, Rogue looked around, placing her gloved fingers on her hips. "A quiet town with nothing do to. Lets make some havoc." A cold smile was upon her lips in that moment. There were ships holding things that would make the town money, that brought in items such as clothing and steel. If they were to be destroyed, the town would lose out on money. It wasn't the great idea, but she had to start somewhere. Besides, boredom was beginning to take over and she might just end up hurting an innocent person. Well that idea sounded much more fun, but she would need a human. Or anything that looked like a human.

Her shoes making a long bang on the floor below her, Thorn stepped out of a badly lit building and let her eyes search the sky for the moment, black hair flying into her face. Brushing it back she took a sip from the cardboard starbucks cup in her hand, though there was anything but coffee inside, and reached back with her other hand to push the sliding door closed behind her.
Though it was a pretty cold night she wore only a pair of dark jeans and a simple maroon coloured shirt, the weather did not matter to her, she was always cold anyway. Taking another sip from the drink she walked a few steps down the shipping yard before settling herself against the wall, lost in her thought the whole time she did not notice a girl with her motorbike only a small walk away. She had been like this a lot lately, her guard seemed down constantly because she found herself constantly thinking about other things. She was sure it would get her killed at some point, but even that thought distracted her.

The sounds of the water washing against the docks was something that made Rogue's smile become more twisted. As she patted her bike, Rogue's hand slipped under, grabbing out twin daggers which she strapped to her sides. With her power, she didn't need weapons, but weapons were good. Just in case. These daggers were blessed, or was that cursed?. If she killed with them, there was a chance she would grow in power. So far that hadn't worked, so she figured that the person lied to her. She scanned her mind, trying to remember the name but couldn't. Oh well, that wasn't important now was it. So, without further poking of her mind, she settled on thinking about what mischief she could cause.
Hearing a faint noise, Rogue turned to face the sound. Her eyes were reduced to slits but she could faintly make out a figure. Making sure the daggers were firmly in place, Rogue strode over, her body moving like liquid. "Nice night is it not? The cold snap is chilling, but its not too bad." Her voice came out smooth and as she looked at the figure, she realized it was a girl. Well, this was going to get more interesting. Rogue played on both sides of the fence, no point sticking to one when both had advantages and disadvantages. By the sound, this wasn't the typical human she ran into, so she wondered what she was exactly. So far, Rogue was alone, if she could get someone on her side, build a a small group, wait until the fight began and than walk in and start fighting, well, that would mean she could grab power, cause pain and death.

Cup still to her lips Thorn stared over the rim with a slight frown at the stranger who had caught her attention, or rather forced her from her thoughts. It was not often that random passers by paused to talk to her, maybe because she was only out after dark and it was not always the best idea to begin a conversation with someone wondering the streets in the middle of the night.
"yeah.." she replied finally, pushing aside her momentary confusion as she got over her self inflicted daze, "very nice night actually" she finished, letting her gaze wonder from the girl infront of her back up to the moon again as she took a sip of the disguised blood. she relaxed more into the wall and let her free hand play with the long necklace that rested on her chest. She knew that her guard should be up around this stranger, that she should be ready for an attack any moment but she found herself unable to care too much, everything just seemed very distant lately.

Her twisted smile was still upon her lips as she kept her gaze firmly on the woman, not knowing she was a vampire, and her mind swirled with thoughts of killing and murder. Boy, she really would have to start on the killing soon, her mind was like someone urging her on. Her own fan base. "It's quiet, but dark enough that if something happened, no one would see." Was she threatening the woman? No, just making an observation. "Your dazed, thats not good. Especially when enemies are all around us." Rogue commented, flexing her fingers.
Again boredom was hunting her and she would do something soon. First things first. "What are you? You don't seem human, from the way you sound." She picked up sounds, like footsteps mostly. If she was human, the sounds would be heavy, and Rogue would have known she was here before turning. Well, thats what she kept telling herself anyway.

At the mention of 'something happening' and 'enemies' Thorn's attention was caught yet again and her gaze turned quickly back to the girl. Was she being threatened? She was not entirely sure but Thorn's guard had defiantly up now. Her eyes stayed fixed on the girl now as she spoke and her free hand fell from the necklace and rested at her side, curled into a fist, ready to attack.
The fist curled tighter as Thorn was asked what she was, a human would not have noticed anything different so this stranger had suddenly become a slightly larger threat. "I'm a vampire, now what exactly would you be?" she asked, pushing herself from off of the wall.

Noticing the shift in the air, the woman had gone from dazed to alert, Rogue nodded her head in approval. If the woman was to keep being slightly dazed, she would have attack. It would have been an easy kill. "A vampire? People think they exist in storybooks." Rogue laughed coldly. People were sure blind these days. They believed what they wanted to, never seeing the true facts, never seeing the truth. It was kind of pathetic, and Rogue was glad she wasn't classed as human. Even though the word for what she was, could be classed as mean. Depending on what you thought.
"You told me what you were, I guess its only fair I do the same. I'm a mutant. Not one of those freaks that are born with three extra limbs and what not. No, power is what I have, but by classification, we are deemed to be called mutants." Rogue ran her gloved hands through her white streaked hair, bits fell into her eyes and she carefully moved them back behind her ears so they wouldn't be too much of a hassle.

Mutant.. Thorn allowed herself to smile a little, she'd heard talk of mutants lately, listening while at a bar it seemed the demons weren't quite sure what to make of them. Thorn too wasn't very sure, this was the first one she'd run into, or at least the first she knew of.
In Thorn's mind curiosity always won over safety, the cat had been killed once after all and was still standing. She could not help but be interested in the mutants power, she wanted to test it even if it could very well be a dangerous thing to do. "And what power does someone like you hold, from the looks of you I wouldn't bet on a lot. Thorn knew better than to judge by what she saw and she was not about underestimate this stranger, she simply wanted to get her angry in hopes of a glimpse of what she was capable of. Giving the other girl a small smirk she ran her fingers through her hair before letting her hand rest at the back of her neck

"Don't judge a book by its cover my dear." Rogue replied with a cold tone of voice. Should she really use her power against this vampire? The vampire did pretty much call her weak, well in her eyes anyway, and Rogue was going to make her pay. Taking off her gloves, she set them on the belt loop of her pants and flexed her fingers. "The absorption of power and psyche through skin contact. You still wanna know what that means?" Rogue didn't give time for Thorn to back away or say no, instead Rogue grabbed Thorn's wrist, her own body going slightly limp as she held on. It would cause Thorn pain, but it wouldn;t kill her because Thorn was technically dead.
Her head hurt, her fingers wanting to let go but she held on. If she was lucky, she would gain memories, and possibly the vampires strength and speed for a limited time. If not, she would just end up with a massive headache and her plans of destruction would be ruined. Rogue began to yell as pain washed over her body in white hot waves. But she still held on.

Thorn was just about to answer when she felt her whole body freeze, there was a moment of stillness in which she regretted her actions before suddenly she felt hit by everything. Her head seemed to split with pain and she slipped back against the wall, taking Rogue with her since it seemed she refused to let go. Thorn wanted to pull her arm free but found herself hardly able to move.
Then it hit her, pretty much everything. She could hear screaming but wasn't sure if it was from the mutant or the flashes of people that were going quickly through her head. There were moments when things slowed down and she was able to see more than just a face, the things closer to her seemed to be the ones to stick out more. Being sired, killing her own parents, feeding from Willow and Micky finding out, her first meeting with Haven. Then the memory seemed to finally settle to one subject.
Blinking Thorn looked around slowly and let out a moan, she was in a strange apartment, the light above her was bright and she squinted to try see better, her eyes adjusting. "You're awake" she turned her head to see who was speaking and found a stranger in the doorway, no idea who the girl was. Last thing she remembered was being left for dead after a fight with a slayer, laid there knowing the sun would be coming up without any way to get inside. The girl came closer, smiling down at her, but a sudden flash made the room darker and the surroundings changes, the bright light was gone, the building they were in was run down and Thorn found her body forced to the ground by two large vampires. She struggled, trying to move before loud cries forced her to look up at the same girl, this time only slightly visible because of the vampire stood over her, though Thorn didn't need to see when she could hear everything.
