Brown eyes scanned the horizon. It was five in the afternoon. Fera was at the shipping yard. She was being filmed right now. It was for some teen drama show. Her character was a seventeen year old named Kayt. Fera hated this episode it was the last one she was going to be in, it was called"GoodBye My Lover, GoodBye My Freind" . She had only been intended to be a three episode character. Instead they ended up keeping her a season and a half. This was the last episode of a season and they were going to kill Kayt. Fera, or Kayt sat on the dock. The wood was rotting and old. Just then another actor ran up.
“Kayt, im sorry I still love you.” The boy said, acting out of breath.
Kayt(Fera) turned her head around furiously.
“How can you say that. You cant just do that and make it better. It doesn’t work that way! Grow up!” She shouted.
The boy walked over and sat next to her on the edge of the dock. He twiddled his fingers.
“So…I guess this wont work either.” The boy said and handed her something that the camra couldn’t see.
Kayt smiled.
“No, but it will help.” She said and kissed him on the cheek.
When they both stood up the board they were sitting on broke. They both fell into the cold water. The boy laughed and shook the water out of his hair. When Kayt(Stunt double) didn’t come up he went under the water and grabbed her hand to bring her up. Once she was out of the water he noticed the rusty, bloody piece of metal going through her chest.
“And cut! Great job everyone. I will see you tomorrow, well except Fera.” The director yelled.
Fera scoffed. She looked at the sun was almost down. Fera said her goodbyes to a few people and then walked off. She didn’t have time to get home, she just had to get to cover. Fera ran into the woods. Just as Fera got in she felt a pain all over. It was time. A bright white light shone all around her. As it faded Fera was the phantom horse.
Any outward observer would see the phantom horse and think of it as there imagination or smoke. In her phantom horse form Fera did have a translucent appearance like smoke. Fera’s dark black eyes scanned the area. She was in a forest. The cliff was right ahead. It was dark out and there was a thick fog in the air. The sun would rise in about an hour. It was still pitch black out. Fera swiftly moved though the trees. In phantom horse form Fera had no conciseness of was had happened before or what was to come. Once she changed back Fera would remember though. Fera trotted over to the cliff to look at the stars.
