Take a lucky dip on life...The sun had set over Misery. Night was out. And so was Rouge. She slipped of her clothing that she had stole a few days ago from the mall when she had met Julie who was trying to help her she said. And for some reason Rouge believed her. She had come out of the wear house for a walk. She was bored and tired of staying in their. She had never swam before. Well she has memories of how to swim but she can never remember really swimming in water. It was new to her.
She slipped herself into the lake slowly. The cold water tickling her skin as she ducked her head under the water pushing herself back up. Her hair was pushed tot he back of her head as she opened her eyes looking out over the water of the lake. The sun was gone totally now. The moon had taken its place and a refection of it was pulled over the lake. The sounds of the crickets echoed though the air bouncing of the sound of the lake.
The night was warm. Spring was here. See could feel it. The nights were getting warmer and the days where staying lighter. Closing her eyes she moved her arms back wards in the water as she swam around a little. Feeling the water around her like this felt good. It was new to her being here. Doing this. Even if she had memories of this implanted into her head she never really did it. She was taken away form her home at such a young age. Well so it said in her papers.

Looking upwards as she walked Thorn kept her eyes on the moon as if expecting it to disappear at any moment. She hated this time of year, the days were becoming longer and longer which meant she had less time to spend outside, but she had learned to accept it, winter would come again and she would have the time to spend outside.
But now the sun had finally set she found herself outside instantly, her feet taking her to a place that seemed to have become one of her 'spots.' The lake. She had an inkling as to what drew here there, she missed having Willow around and the lake was the first place they had met. She knew it was not really a health habit, if she could not go near the witch she had to learn to push her aside and forget, but Thorn had always been one for getting stuck in the passed.
Getting closer to the lake she noticed movement their, someone was swimming in the water. She watched them for a moment but simply pushed it aside and sat down on the hard ground, as far as she was concern she had no reason to worry about the other persons presence, as long as they kept to themselves.

She wasn't feeling anything right now no emotion about how beautiful the night was. How it felt being in the water swimming with no care in the world. She should be. But she wasn't. She stil didn't understand this world. Its emotions, the things we go though. It was all French to her right now. She wanted to learn she wanted to know what all this meant, why they cried, why they smiled. Everything.
She was swimming deeper into the lake. Holding her breath as she go deeper in to the lake. She could see the water getting darker as she got deeper. Until she needed to breath. She would have liked to have gone deeper but she needed the air. Like a fish needs the water. She understood that much at least.
She swam back up her head smashing thought he water her hair jumping up from her head making the water from her hair spray the area around her. Then she felt it. That sense again. The same one she felt when she came across Julie. She turned around in the water looking around the area till she noticed a women sat at the edge of the lake.
She moved her arms and legs swimming slowly closer to the women. "You look troubled" Rouge said as she got closer to the women. Alice wanted to know more about the world. What better way then to find out from the people that live in it.

Her attention was pulled back to the other woman a few moments before her question, the movement of the water caught Thorn's attention and caused her to look down from the stars again. She watched as the stranger swam closer and continued to stare at her until she spoke, at this point however she looked away.
Her eyes found the sky again and she let them wonder across it for a moment before nodding finally and looking back down to the stranger. "I've had better days, better weeks actually" she answered, knowing it was all true. It wasn't often she shared but if it was going to be with anyone she would rather it be a stranger, at least that way it wouldn't come back to bite her.

Alice pulled herself from the water reaching for the over sized jumped she had been wearing pulling it on over her as she sat down next to the women. She didn't fear anything right now. If their was fear to be felt she didn't feel it. She sensed no harm coming her way right now.
She didn't speak for a while just starring at the water as the water from her hair soaked her back. She pulled her knees up as she rested her chin on them wrapping her arms around her legs as she just lost herself in the water.
"Fish have no worries they forget them when they find them then forget them then find them then they forget them" Rouge said uttering on again about nothing of importance to normal people but to her it made alto of sense. It told her that maybe if people stopped remembering the pain they felt it would go away until they felt it again. Then it would be forgot lost in their minds. Then they would be happy. Maybe that was the only way to be happy. To have your brain cleaned every time something bad happens.

Thorn stared at the girl for a few moments before turning her gaze to the sky once again. She was not sure what to make of her, was she just weird or maybe a little bit crazy? Thorn had come across a few vampires that spoke in a similar fashion, but she sensed nothing like that about this stranger.
"Well I'm afraid I'm not as lucky as those fish" Thorn replied quietly, her eyes wondering down to the girl once again to take in her appearance properly this time. She really was not sure what to make of her, but if she sat in silence she could almost sense something odd about her. Bringing her legs up to her chest as the stranger had she rested her arms on them as she continued to watch her.
